Adrian 17 - Marionville 16 (FINAL)

Trade you for the 'grounder' mville had ruled as a catch that led to their first score.

Officiating was solid. I think the interference was when the camera wasn't panned that way.
I mean Adrian could throw a fit about one of the WR holding the crap out of our DBs about every play but why? The kids got to play physical and the best team won even when they didn't play a good game.

You can’t have defensive PI when a ball is tipped. Also, you can’t have defensive PI when the ball is thrown three yards out of bounds. Those aren’t judgements, they are basic rules.

Not sure how you can have a defensive PI when the ball is not only tipped, but thrown out of bounds. The Adrian coaches weren’t even yelling for a flag. It was 4th and 12 when that call was made. That call led to Adrian’s second TD.
I guess you would have preferred them to call the late hit personal foul on the hit on the WR that was on the ground and out of bounds. Y’all caught a break that play realistically. That would have been personal foul #4 🤣

A late hit call would have been a dead ball foul and Marionville would have had possession.

Yeah I get what you're saying. They miss some.

Like the grounder Mville scooped for a 'catch.'
Didn’t see the grounder, but I assume that would fall under judgement or lack there of. As for defensive PI on a tipped pass three yards out of bounds, that is rule related and not judgement. If you want to claim a dead ball late hit, then they still need to call it correctly.

and the personal foul?

Go look at the thread 'The REFS" i made last night.

This isnt' a good look for you. People saw the grounder and the no-call on the kids 3rd personal foul in the endzone.
Personal fouls are never a good look and I wouldn’t defend them for any team or coach. I also understand judgement calls are what they are, judgement. I am just saying you can’t have defensive PI on a tipped pass three yards out of bounds.

maybe the judgement was it wasn't tipped. It was kind of a duck

Even assuming that, I don’t think you can have defensive PI three yards out of bounds. The Ozone video didn’t show it. I saw the 3:15 clip and it looks like a clean catch.

It definitely wasn’t PI but maybe the refs were tired of hearing “Go back to Springfield” and “You guys suck” from Uncle Dad. And maybe, just maybe, they thought, I”ll show you suck!

Thanks. LOL. Continue with your gloating and good luck against Vincent. The Comets will be more palatable when their talent drops.

The Comets will be more palatable when they stop committing so many unsportsmanlike conduct/personal fouls.

I thought it was also very strange how only the Adrian players continued to slip/fall on the field. The last time it rained there was the Monday leading up to the game…

Wouldn’t be surprised if the schools water bill is a little more than usual..

ALso noticed on the 4th and 2 (?) on the mville drive to end 1st half when 20 lined up at TE the mville fullback literally blocked the adrian defender to open up the way for that pass.

Damn refs.!
