Too many Americans have bought into the tribalism. I have never voted straight party ticket. And never will, but that is exactly what the Washington politicos are counting on.

What is a centrist? Can a centrist think lowering the age for Medicare is a good thing? Or offering a buy in to Medicare? Can a centrist believe we should have a plan to gradually get off of fossil fuel and make moves to save the planet? Can a centrist believe that billionaires and large corporations not paying squat in taxes but using our infrastructure is an unjust system? Are those radical concepts? Or are they centrist?

Hey Duck, I am not against moving away from fossil fuel or looking for alternative ideas. However if America is going to be the only one that forces companies inside American borders to do these things it decidedly puts the American people at a huge disadvantage along with our economy and our workers. I am not saying we should not try to curb that...Just saying if We as a country or the Democratic party wants to change the world we or they need to create laws that actually force companies to conform world wide... not just in the confines of our borders. America can write tougher laws to control fossil fuels and the pollution, But what we have seen in the past with, is they write those laws and give an old wink and a nod knowing those companies are just going to move that manufacturing to countries that don't give two $&*^ about pollution.... places like China or Mexica just to name a few. That is what hurts the American worker and that is why it is hard to get a majority of Americans behind those laws and any commitment on that. Its hard to tell the one child hey you don't get no candy but they see other kids in other places walking around freely with it. So if we want to write these laws we need to force companies that whether your doing your manufacturing in America or China you will conform to our laws or your products will have huge Tariffs on them when imported back into our Country for sale so the companies in America and the American worker can compete on equal terms. Apple is the biggest company that gets away with it and both sides of the isle use the excuse they just cannot afford to bring manufacturing back to America...Hell no the can't not with all the regulations and polices we have! So they manufacture all those phones in China because well let's all just be honest with one another China don't give a rats ass about pollution or even workers rights and America don't care because Apple is profitable and gives millions to those politicians to keep writing those laws! That is why manufacturing is dead in America, not because we can't it is because we don't want the pollution in our back yard we or the Dems green side of the party want to go look what we are doing as a country to stop pollution, when in reality all we did was a slight of hand card trick and it moved it to some third would country where they just don't give a rats ass about it. But we get to tweet about it on our nice new cheap iPhone!!

Which the American worker should. However I will add if companies want huge tax cuts. I am not against zeroing out the tax rate for corporations who pay their average worker a decent wage and benefits instead of paying the CEO CFO and COO outrages salaries. Tell me the stock holders wouldn't get behind this. And it is a win win for the Government and everybody involved, because if you have companies now paying decent wages the government has less people they have to support on our tax dollars.

Boykins continued to record after the tapes were "discovered". Then used them to investigate and try to strong arm the officers. Buttigieg did him a favor, or he would've been federally prosecuted. If the chief were white, and these were black officers, this would never have been an issue. The officers were obviously wrong. Boykins was obviously wrong, at a criminal level. The fact he was black, and a young white mayor fired/demoted him, was the only reason it was an issue. The second Boykins learned of the ILLEGAL recordings he should've followed protocol. Had he done that, all would've been good.

from the top to the bottom it is broken. Our company is self insured so all of our premiums come from the company. However we have to hire a company to work with doctors and medical professionals to pay out claims... I wonder how much of that is wasted and that company profits...

I work Nights at a hospital hence being up late ....even though Trump lost the popular vote still 40+ million also felt the same way and voted for him.
