Not sure what class they will end up being but, as posted on my thread yesterday, watch St. Pius X.
Will Valle move back up to class3?

Here is an updated private school list by my figuring. (Could have mistakes if I didn't see something). The only private that could move is Pius X.

Here is how the point system works:

1. Post-season points
a. District Champion: 1 point
b. State 3rd/4th Place: 2 points
c. State 2nd Place: 3 points
d. State Champion: 4 points
IMPORTANT: Points are not cumulative within each season. Each program will only receive the points for the highest finish. If a team wins a state title it is four points only. You do not add district points on top of the championship.

Here are the plateaus for moving up classifications:

2. Point Totals for Re-Classification:
a. 0 – 2 points: remain classified based on raw enrollment
b. 3 – 7 points: re-classified one class above where classified on raw enrollment
c. 8+ points: re-classified two classes above where classified on raw enrollment

I've never seen so many goose eggs around Valle's name.. This is blasphemy! MSHSAA may be sued over picking on those private schools!

St. Pius X in Kansas City, school size increase in enrollment. They will move to Class 5.

Lift for life will bump 1 class as well now.

St. Pius X in Kansas City, school size increase in enrollment. They will move to Class 5.
st p x was at 264 this year, breaks will be different next year but for now using what we got, they have a 2 class bump so to get there they will need a class 3 enrollment of 311, if they are suddenly finding 47 kids I think it is safe to say they recruited or believe they will recruit very well.

let me help you, to get to 311 the incoming freshman class needs to be 47 students larger than the graduating senior class. From what I understand, this is the case.

The system will work as designed. they will struggle in class 5. But in the long run it will make them better. A lot of high level athletes don't want to play in class 2 or 3.

well considering they dont have a middle school there is no way to know that, what they may know is how many applied and how many they said yes to. what they cant possibly know is how many they said yes to will turn them down or how many current students will leave. I need know help getting there i come from the land of many catholic private high schools i know how they get their enrollment

The way they know is because enrollment for next year has opened up. They have a pretty good idea where they will be. Nothing official it's just talk around the community.

8th grade classes have nothing to do with next years enrollment. Schools report this years 9th, 10th and 11th number for next year.

It’s the current freshman class that needs to be 47 students larger than the current senior class.

Why does it take MSHSAA 5 months?

Anyone ever asked them that?

Because from now until first couple weeks of fall season, some school may not have enough kids to field a team therefore they are not participating. Which obviously is smaller schools, but it will affect the entire structure of who goes up or down in class. This is my understanding, but I am sure there others reasons. Also, Private school enrollment fluctuates so much they have to wait the 2 week period of eligibility before they can release districts.

The ever growing 8 man is a big part of this, too.

Idk why there is such a rush. If MSHSAA wanted accurate numbers maybe have schools report #s the last Friday of August and release districts the next Friday.

I would bet most on this board could do it in a hour. Hell I’ve set up entire tournaments in less time.

I don't understand why they report numbers to mshsaa in the first place. Just use the numbers the districts report to the state.

How so? There are checks and balances even for private schools. Most are 501c3 so it’s still can easily be investigated if fowl play is suspected.
Come on flake, it’s already bad enough you spew this nonsense that 10 of you believe, and don’t even hardly discuss football on a football forum.

Now you can’t even use foul in a proper sense. Come on snowflake! ❄️

How do they fix teams that quit during the season or postseason?

Ask that lady in the MSHSAA.tv intros and see what happens..................

Looking at next year, K I expect to hold teams to less than 9 points a game in the reg season. They have four-all state players back. Expect pass D to be better. Run D as good.

That makes it easier for the Offense, which is losing the kitchen sink, but brings back younger Emmons. A couple all-staters up front back. There will be some surprises as we saw a preview of the Ham carrier on one game. Expect some smash mouth as the line gets bigger and stronger. The backs will be hard hitting. You ask whoever is QB to just not lose you games. Expected top receiver is faster than #1 this year.
