Their location on a map?Is there something I don't know about Ladue that puts them ahead of all the good SW and NW schools (other than Webb)?
Lockwood??!! did Bates get an extra year of eligibility?
I'll take it. Harrisonville only has like 850 students, they should never be top 5. Hell they lost to Excelsior Springs. Maybe they should be unranked.
Exactly 10 turnovers in a half. But they did beat K-town.And 49-0 to Platte County.
Too bad about this year...have WC in the quarterfinals...IF they make it there.Exactly 10 turnovers in a half. But they did beat K-town.

There are two big signs that football season is upon us. First, all the weekly pick ems start up. Second and more importantly, the trash talking starts up again lol.Too bad about this year...have WC in the quarterfinals...IF they make it there.

I've been singing their praises since last year's semifinal. Their D should be trememdous (had a huge kid on DL cannot remember his name that should be back) and many returnees on O. Their best all purpose player was hurt in the playoffs last year or they likely would have been Harrisonville's title opponent. Again the #1 game in STL area this Friday is them traveling to FZ North, who is also loaded with returnees. Is there something I don't know about Ladue that puts them ahead of all the good SW and NW schools (other than Webb)?
Don't forget trolling.............There are two big signs that football season is upon us. First, all the weekly pick ems start up. Second and more importantly, the trash talking starts up again lol.
Not a fan of McDowell at all but really respect Clisso. He does a lot of good work in the KC metro and his website is one of my main sources of info (since I have been on night shift the past four seasons..........that is about to change thankfully!). Know literally nothing about the others.Blame it on these guys. Panel is made up of

They actually caught on to a number of my "teams to watch" but, in the end, they are just opinions. The only talk I care about is what actually happens on the field. Strap in this is going to be a wild ride again this year............
3 actually Shoot....the Doc Guys return! There are two big signs that football season is upon us. First, all the weekly pick ems start up. Second and more importantly, the trash talking starts up again lol.
Now I like the sound of that!! The Doc Guys return.....TOGETHER!3 actually Shoot....the Doc Guys return!
You are correct, it is a HUGE loss. Not only his athleticism on both sides of the ball and in special teams (punting, kicking, returning both), but his enthusiasm and leadership as well. He had a drive that motivated the rest of the team. You can't coach that portion.I'm not buying Harrisonville yet. Losing Salemea, I'm sure I spelled that wrong, is a HUGE loss. That kid was such a difference maker. He would have gone FBS if he was 4 inches taller.
Am I mistaken or is there something wrong with Pierce City being ranked in the preseason top 10? That was a headscratcher for me along with Lockwood.
And Glendale being ranked in the Class 5 Top Ten? Granted, I watch mostly OC/SCA games, but the fact that Glendale graduated ALL of their offensive starters from last year and ALL of their top receivers from a year ago makes me doubt that they're deserving of this ranking. I understand that they have their QB back and their offense is always going to put up big numbers, but if they can't put a defense on the field, I can see them having similar results to what they had in 2015.
hey now! I don't use ink. I use vocal chords lol. I have never partaken in polls because, well the only team I've seen so far this pre-season is Chillicothe in practice and I can't judge how good they will be against teams I've not yet seen. But that's just me. It's fun for the students on the team and some of the fans....Now, I don't know for certain, but I'd wager 75%+ of these people have never laced up a pair of cleats.
The only thing that makes sports media people "experts" is that they buy ink by the barrel.
More like....STINK by the barrel!!!Now, I don't know for certain, but I'd wager 75%+ of these people have never laced up a pair of cleats.

I saw PC in the jamboree and they seemed to have to tools to be successful in class 1. Good speed, size, and numbers back from a 7-4 team that was loaded with freshmen and sophomores last year.Am I mistaken or is there something wrong with Pierce City being ranked in the preseason top 10? Don't care about the rankings but don't sleep on Hannibal. Liked the QB last year he is back along with some other pretty good skill players (but did lose the stud RB, funny how some teams are actually better the year after he graduates).Class 4 Missouri Media Top 10 Poll week #1 results
