Josh Klusmeyer's tenure as Raider Head Football Coach is over before it really began. He & wife Amber, who coached the Softball at North, stepped down from their jobs citing "personal and professional reasons" (1)

Well, Larry Phillips left out of HOF again. It is a shame and a large dose of disrespect for these grassroots drivers. Just ask Mark Martin.

Congratulations to former Joplin Globe sports writers Wendell Redden, Anvil Welch, Jim Henry, and Jim Fryar on their upcoming induction into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame. Back in the day, the sports reporting and sports writing at the Joplin Globe was top notch!!! I know Jim Henry, and he is a very nice and great person! Very deserved recognition for these men!

Not the same as 11-man football I know...but still a pretty good indicator of really good skill talent.

with 3.5 months to friday night lights i started pulling the schedule and looking at things and I saw that week 1 playoffs for non 1 seeds will be 10/31. interested to see how many will be moved to Saturday

Seems like we got some nice things to look forward to so far
Texas and OSU week 1 headliner
Dallas and Philly kickoff the NFL season
Dallas and KC for Thanksgiving
Kc and Denver for Christmas
