I had the opportunity to watch Battle and Helias. I looked forward to a premier mid-mo matchup. Helias has 3 Seniors that have played a lot of basketball and looking at their record I was a bit surprised. But they ran the same thing over and over, take shots 1 into 3 defenders. Just surprised.

I was looking at all of the teams and trying to rank them in my head and wow is this league down this year. I had a hard time even coming up with the 3rd best team. Nixa will win this league 9-0 pretty easily.

Does anyone underperform more than ND?

I saw a Facebook group for Eugene 4th-6th grade football. Does anybody know if they are affiliated with the school or are they doing something similar to Blair Oaks Junior Falcons? I know they are moving to a new conference and I believe only them and New Bloomfield do not have football in the conference, so really hoping this could be another local school adding football in the future.

I think 3 of the 4 Final Four teams are pretty easy to pick.

Who knows District 9-12
Should be heck of a Final Four

Wish the coach the best. Emergency back surgery a couple weeks ago had kept him sidelined. He is the only basketball coach in the history of the boy's program.

I got a text on MY phone today from a lady asking if I could trim her Crepe Myrtles when the weather clears up and I have time. I text her back that I would and told why wife about that. A few minutes ago a thing popped up on HER phone about 7 plants/bushes that should be trimmed in January or February. This is not the first time this has happened that something we talked about around the house, not something either of us looked up on our phone or the computer, and something about that subject appeared on our phone. I don't know how that happens but's it's a little scary to think your phone hears anything you say when it's just setting somewhere in the house with you.

Friday evening in the championship game of the OFC Tournament at Three Rivers. Both have two good post players and good guards, should be another good one. It'll be interesting to see if either team's press will work as well on the bigger college court. The same guys that have done the Doniphan games all year on Current River Radio youtube thang have done every game of the OFC Tournament, including the JV games and will do all the games on championship night too. JV boys at 5:30, Varsity girls about 7 and Varsity boy's about 8:30.

just created 335,000 new jobs in January, more than twice what the "experts" had projected and pay went up also went up in January. The job numbers for December were also revised upward by a lot.

West Plains has definitely had their growing pains this year but the Lady Zizzers are 15-4(4-0 in the OC) have won 11 straight after starting the season 4-4.

There is a 3-way tie for first in the OC between WP, Poo, and Rolla.

I do think Kickapoo is favored by 10-15 pts in this game on paper, but WP hasn’t lost since December 27th and have won those games by an average of 18+

WP has 7 games left on their schedule before districts and I predict they’ll go 5-2 with the remainder of the schedule and actually have them picked to lose this one, but there’s a part of me that thinks this will be a game. And I hope it is.
