How many schools hire non teaching (on staff) coaches? I know there are a lot of schools that allow volunteer coaches and off staff assistant coaches, maybe retirees, but is it a common practice to have a head coach of sport that doesn't work at the school?

Secondly, should those persons be held to the same level of morality, ethics, and rules as actual educators in their coaching role? I have seen too many examples nationwide in the news/websites to where off staff coaches seem to get by with more than actual professional educators.

I’ve been with Coach B for a long time and he told me earlier this week he was moving on from the HC position and that it was time.

No doubt Coach took over the program in some lean years and steered us through those times and developed some pretty competitive teams after those first couple of seasons.

He had and will always be a Panther to the core and we will miss him on the sidelines.

I am working on schedules for next year and need help on who is playing in what conference please. Can someone tell me what conference these teams are in and who else is in it.

I have also heard that Adrian may be joining the Ozark Highland in all sports but don't know if that is next year. Anyone else hear that?

Why are they showing two forfeit losses to Lincoln then a loss vs North Platte?
I know they beat Lincoln at Lincoln to end the regular season.

Oh man now that I look they also got their win against Lone Jack wiped out.

Doesn’t look like Jones will score 40 like she did the last time these two met.

Tight game. Should be a good 2nd half coming up.

Willow springs gets the 8th seed even though they have beaten both the 7 seed and the 6 seed.

The 7th seed is mountain grove with 5 wins on the year.

I’ll be there to watch the Willow/Hartville rematch shortly.

Situation: 4th quarter where one team leads by more than 30. A coach calls a timeout. But he only does it to get subs in the game.

This tells me the coach doesn't think they have much coming back for next year. It also seems like a late decision so maybe something happened.

Got to watch a FB live stream of this game. Was a good one. Both teams play so physical. Really tight first half. Skyline pulled ahead in the 2nd half to get the win. Both teams will be hard to handle in districts and beyond.
