Literally no one is shocked

Anyone that honestly believes that "deal" was good legislation that would have stopped illegal immigration into the USA is just beyond ignorant.
You haven’t read it. You haven’t been to the border. You haven’t been involved in the negotiations. By every measure, It’s stronger than what we currently have.

“Ignorance” is forfeiting good because you can’t have perfect. “Ignorance” is calling yourself a conservative and then not believing a strong conservative senator because your cult leader says so.

there Is nothing wrong with our current immigration laws. If you are not a refugee and this is your first safe haven, or have possession of a visa and passport you don't let them into our country period.

tell me something that was "good" about that legislation?? I have worked in maquiladoras all up and down the Mexican side of the border and been to 27 countries. You need to get out of the Missouri sticks and see the world before you try talking like you know something

If anyone thinks that border deal that gave more money (60 billion to Ukraine) than the 20 billion for actual border enforcement was a good deal is either in on the take or doesn’t understand how things work. Why give more money to secure ukraines border than our own Toots? Please explain in what world that makes sense?

Stop the border crisis now, build a wall. That'll fix it. Those dirty immigrants.

Scary stuff..

That was a real NPC comment. Not even what was being discussed. The discussion was whether or not it was a good deal and I want someone to explain why our border deal sends more money to secure Ukraines border. I have not met a single person against legal migration on either side. I have family in Fredericksburg TX and they would argue the people coming across aren’t dirty but very clean with clean clothes and prepaid credit cards. It’s a much different set of people than were crossing 10 years ago.

For decades the GOP has vehemently opposed Russia. Many of their voters have taken pride in powerfully standing up to Putin. One guy who is in love with Putin’s money has flipped an entire party on its ear.

Ten years ago the GOP wouldn’t have hesitated for a second to help Ukraine and would have referred to Dems as weaklings and socialists for not standing up against the ruthless dictator.

That did not answer the question of how it’s a good idea to send more money to Ukraine than for ourselves. Nice history lesson though.

Here is the full list of the five Democrats who joined Republicans in voting "no." This was Schumer own bill. 3 republicans voted in favor but these democrats voted no.

  1. Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts
  2. Senator Ed Markey of Massachusetts
  3. Senator Alex Padilla of California
  4. Senator Bob Menendez of New Jersey
  5. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York
Don’t hear many people talking about this. Seems like it was always a bad bill to get Republicans to vote no so the democrats could then act as if they wanted to close the border when the bill would not come close to doing it. Politics as usual but doesn’t seem like either side really wants to get the border secured. Still waiting for your response to why a border bill for America includes 3 times the money for Ukraine.
What does NPC mean bksfg4?
It’s a joke about people who believe this is all a simulation and an NPC is a non-player character. It means you have no original thought and just say the same useless talking points that have been fed to you and you just spout without understanding why. Look it up and see how well it describes you.

Ukraine is an important strategic ally, and there is an actual crisis going on there, what with the bombs, tanks, missiles, and whatnot. I would actually argue that we shouldn't be making entangling alliances that make us have to spend millions helping out, but then so would George Washington.

Gamer talk.
Typical NPC move. Try to put down someone who calls you out for being uninformed and after being taught about a movement in the youth of America and around the world. It originated with gamers but has taken on a new life. Not a gamer but I’m still aware of what the kids are doing and thinking. Stop learning and you might as well be dead. Maybe you should keep a line open to the youth so you don’t completely lose touch with a whole generation of people who can see what’s going on (because it is actually affecting them). Keep on thinking your smarter when you fall farther behind every day.

It’s you’re, not your.
Good response. Eye rely two often on putting an e at the end and letting autocorrect ad the apostrophe. Eye complement you and will look four future assessments of grammar on my posts and except you’re critique. Aisle bee sure too due better in the future.

I was being sarcastic, genius.

I know and stand by my statement. Your sarcasm, all though beautifully crafted and very eloquent, would be from someone with nothing to add to the conversation, or the game = NPC based upon that comment at that moment.

Wow. You made a lot of assumptions just now. I’m just telling that guy where it came from and literally nothing more.
