Poss celebrated his 100th birthday at the Mount Vernon VA home. He was FB coach at Pierce City from 52 to 58 where he coached my dad and my uncles. He also coached at Waynesville and Aurora (where he coached a young Harv Welch). I saw some old scrapbooks. One had an account of the last PC/Monett game in 53 or 54 which ended in a scoreless tie. The game was called early due to hooligans from Monett fighting in the stands. Poss refereed Football and Basketball into the 1980's. Good old dude!
