Joey Buffoon is all about Kearney now. Posing as he called it, when in fact he was on Webbs sack for this game over the Bulldogs.

CAN WE SAY? KEARNEY DEFINITELY HANDLED WEBB OFFENSE AND BEATING A DOWN ROCKHURST TEAM TWO YEARS IN A ROW DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING MORE THAN JUST ANOTHER WIN.

Let's see what you guys are saying when another Webb victim Har-Ber at a minimum goes to the Arkansas 7A championship game after they swept the "big two" in that state (Bentonville and Fayetteville). THAT was NOT just another win.

It was a great class 4 win this year. Kudos. Great game.
 
The boys walking off the field with their heads down, that played...have two rings at home. They know how to play defense too. Did kearney score the second half? Point is you arent going to win every year, every game especially every close game. Kearney had one hell of a defense and so did Webb. Webb has fumbled more times in the last few games than I can remeber....but some of those were due to very hard hitting opponents. I suspect film will show the ball was over the line before it came loose. But may also show poor calls that went against Kearney. Either way , congrats for a great game and great effort to the new state champs, now try keeping that level for 5 more years. I really was very impressed with Kearneys defense and quarterback, tremendous efforts to all the players.

Webb should have stayed in that veer from the first snap...on the first scoring drive...it worked.
 
He never had the ball. It was a fumble. Line got the push and he landed a yard deep in the endzone but didnt have the ball. Bad way to lose but sometimes it happens i suppose. Webb is usually on the other end of games that end that way. Today they weren't
 
Savannah , nixa , cj come to mind . It was a whale of a game. I think typically webb wins that game but you only have one chance and kearney took it . Congrats

Agreed, I was watching it at home...the exhchange didn't work...ball was just flying through there out of control.
 
It was a fluky type play but in the triple option you always have some unforced errors. Nature of the beast. Two pretty even teams imo and kearney made less mistakes

First fumble the kid was knocked out cold. Second was a muffed punt. Third on the 2 i didnt see well. Obviously a fumble tho. The roderique almost fumble idk . Looked close but no replay. Final one rb never had unfortunately because he scored easily
 
The Kearney lines dominated the first half...the one ref on the Webb side that called 5 holding penalties

Roderique was off the ground. It would have been a travesty. The same ref by the way, that called five of the six holding penalties against Kearney, is the ref that said he was down. He wasn't.

You know I think most on here think Joey is a crawfish, weve all read his posts before and after different games. But must admit I thought you were a little sharper.

Kearney won the game. I wont take anything away from them, great team great game. But I'm guessing you missed the 280 yards of Offense by WEBB in the second half? Maybe you missed the two fumbles in the endzone from the one yard line in the 4th quarter after marching the length of the field to get there. Did you happen to miss the confidence of Coach Rod going for it on 4th and 1 from the 11, knowing his team would pick up the first instead of tying it up kicking a chip shot field goal with a kicker perfect on the season besides a 55 yard try in a thunderstorm. WTH kind of drugs are you on to suggest the only thing WEBB has done is beat a down ROCK team the last two years? By the way that down ROCK team that lost only to WEBB by 26 and in the Class 6 finals last year by 7 to CBC. Incase you missed it WEBB hadnt lost to a team from Missouri since 2009 (Kearney) and have only had 1 other loss since then HarBer. WEBB CITY has done a hell of alot more than just beat a down ROCK team. You sir are an idiot.

I cant say one way or the other if you are right or not on that fumble but at the end of the day it doesn't matter. It was definitely the best two teams in class 4 and it came down to the final second and final yard. Fact is kearney scored all their points off turnovers and final td off a running into the kicker penaltity. Both teams had great defenses and webb made too many mistakes

3 peat. I feel your pain. Webb trolls have bragged all season about how they beat Rock for two years and the Ark teams. Webb trolls have every reason to brag. You may of missed those 37,000 posts. Webb is a perennial power. My post was directed to Joey not intelligent, classey, humble poster like yourself. Personally I despise, fear, envy, jealous, admire and respect Kearney all in the same day between the lines. I've got a jacket in my closet with a K on it that I used to wear. It's my home town. I've seen Kearney up-close and personal for many many years.
I predicited Kearney would find a way. It was their day.This is how Kearney wins these types of games. Hard nosed kid's that believe, and not intimidated by wedge play right at you. Not intimidated by old school down hill runs that wear out the average softie that we see in today's touch football. Today, Kearney even played above the clouds to stand in. Kearney got fortuitous turnover's, good field position, outplayed Webb in special teams phase. Ran the ball well at times. Stopped Webbs best run plays, made them drive it. Made them look simple. Some luck was involved, but there's no question, Kearney was the more physical team today. As much as I dislike my alma mater I will alway's root for them when it comes to playing South Missouri big mouth's that brag all the time. This was KC football vs the dark side of the state and more importantly north of the river ball. Kearney is Kearney. It's what they do.

Both teams had great defenses...Kearney made too many plays.
 
i didn't mention above the Kearney field goals. Kids got a great foot and even more impressed with his accuracy. I really dont think if i tried to throw the ball thru the goal from 10 ft away that i could be as accurate. Hope hes getting some looks from the next level. He had alot to do with the score vs the stats and the outcome of this game than any of the hot air above.

He hit a 49 yard and a 53 yarder this season...that I know of in the four games of theirs I saw. Excellent kicker. Most of the kick offs through the endzone with no return.
