Platte County is all different from those "muscle" Sherman years. Spread offense with perhaps the best gunslinger (certainly on par with Mitchell 2016) they've ever fielded. Like the aforementioned who became a starting catcher at OU Rocco looks every bit the baseball part. The huge key I saw last week is the supporting cast. Not sure how anyone will be able to hold that offense below the 30s the rest of the way but that is, as the old old saying goes, why they play the game.
Yeah I get caught in the retirement deal heck how old was Tjeerdsma when he hung it up?I could see a Jones in Maryville lots of ties to that program I have no info but I could sure see that happening.
I am sure that was from back when he was a lying no good piece of filthy trash liberal democrat.Good thing he came to his senses
If this were 5 years ago would entertain this.Greg Jones HC with Logan Minnick OC ?
UCM's defense hasn't been consistent, but they've been winning in the two seasons he has been there.
Mel's recruiting model was easily replicated by his proteges until the portal came into being.
That being said here is Wright's record 65 wins, 5 playoff berths, and 4 MIAA titles in 7 seasons.
This would make for a PERFECT Doc Guy meet up! Invite all of our fellow MoSports posters!

Proximity Friday is the Webb game … have not had a chance to watch Platte County in person in a long time. Covered Aurora at Platte County in 1999, saw them at the dome in 2000, covered the semifinal at Carl Junction in 2001 and the following week watched them win another title and 2002 covered the Seneca at Platte County game where they held a 2,600 yard running back to under 50 yards.
Have always had respect for the program, Coach Sherman was very polite and professional all the times we spoke and enjoyed conversations with him the Dome. He was one of many coaches who would come up to the press box and talk with the media and when interviews were done, he would hold court and share some stories.
Chip Sherman and Fred Bouchard were both coaches from other parts of the state that Anvil Welch and I would enjoy catching up with when we were in St. Louis for championship weekend.
Last Friday had to be beyond freaky for Chip, though, as he is now an assistant at St. Pius X.Watched Nixa at Webb and got to see the future Olympian and NFL lineman.

I literally did NOT say that! Do you know how to read??? Miss the quotations? THATS CITED MATERIAL!!! Take off your Gerry Bertier glasses and READ before you post!! NICE TRY!!
Oh I understand that and Logan would be beyond a top candidate so will clarify I think that would not be a direction in which he would head. I believe he is D1 College (NFL some day?) material.Need no ties for a promotion with a pay raise.
We went down for a JV game a few years back. He was funny and charming at first and wearing on our nerves by halftime.I can’t speak to that, never been to a game @ Diamond in my life. Or that I can remember at least.
I assume this opinion changed once us Doc Guys showed up!This is why JRod hated this message board with a passion and would tell players and fans to stay off, of course it didn't do any good.
Since you STILL cant readSix posts up on this thread, dipstick.
Are you sniffing glue? You posted false information. Math much?
Watched Nixa at Webb and got to see the future Olympian and NFL lineman.Carefull with the Webb stream. It has been very subpar this year. Probably why the stadium has still been full from 3-6. I would pop on that Nixa game if you havent seen that great wall of pancakes with the little cherry on top running behind it. Defense will give up a lot. If a team can stop that run then they can take them down.

Need no ties for a promotion with a pay raise. No ties to there that would be beyond shocking.
Regular season wise, WP has been a consistent 7-win team for the last decade. 9 wins overall average for full season. You are definately right. Had to look it up. Not sure why I was thinking WP usually had a good record. Had to be thinking of old Bolivar or something.
