They will be officially open week 1 for next year. So if a team wants to play a little over 2 quarters and go home, you can get them on your schedule.
They will be officially open week 1 for next year. So if a team wants to play a little over 2 quarters and go home, you can get them on your schedule. This whole situation as stupid. As long as I can remember, when a game is stopped for weather and not finished in Friday, you finish it Saturday. I went to games where that happened when I was a kid, I remember a West Platte/Tarkio game getting stopped for the weather and finished the next day probably 25 years ago and they finished it on Saturday. MICDS refusing because the parents and the kids wanted to party at Lake of the Ozarks is just ridiculous.
I hope anyone who they try to schedule in the future remembers this crap.
I think the key team is Park Hill. I put very little stock in how much SVille scores against Ray South and Truman prior to hosting KMO.I believed coming into the season that the starting D on this squad would give up an average of less than 7 points a game. Nothing I saw Friday changed that. However, some opponents down the road look like they are good at putting up points.
This is all MSHSAA, Hillsboro sent an email today asking MICDS for any day they are willing to finish the game. Since you get 6 quaters a week, they can play anyday. There AD told Hillsboro's AD there are just no days that work in there schedule. Basically MICDs refuses to finish the game and MSHSAA says they get the win. The uselessness of MSHSAA only continues.Yeah still trying to figure out if this was mshsaa or Hillsboro giving up. If it was mshsaa will they go to court and lose again
Culpepper has marbles insert Major League gif. Look how he does it for his girls teams.I was wrong about Tipton and California game, but man I am not sure that Tipton is ready to handle the physicality of the game. They will be punched in the mouth over and over again. Kudos to Tipton scheduling the game! Best of luck to both teams
I’ll be holding my breath and…I've done sent them a message and I expect them to be as responsive as rivals

Humph!….MSHSAA…
Seems cut and dry.You have this completely backwards. Hillsboro is the ones that offered to move the game Friday morning due to incoming weather. This was stated on twitter/X the Friday night almost immediately following the delay by one of the Hillsboro coaches. I would assume that is why the school is frustrated. MICDS is in the wrong here. To further prove that below is a direct quote from the MSHSAA Football Manual that shows that MICDS will either have to call the game a wash or forfeit because its very evident both schools did not agree on ending the game with 17 minutes of playing time left.
MSHSAA Football Manual (page 11 section H part J)
“HANDLING CONTESTS DURING HAZARDOUS WEATHER CONDITIONS - SEE SECTION 1.F for REFERENCE
Note: Games interrupted because of events beyond the control of the responsible administrative authority shall be continued from the point of interruption, unless the teams mutually agree to terminate the game with existing score”
MSHSAA Football Manual (page 9 Section E part 14)
“Forfeited Games: Are defined as those games scheduled and never contested, games started but not concluded because one team refuses to complete the contest or when a team uses an ineligible player”
A precedent has certainly been set for the future. If you are leading, and weather (or whatever) causes the game to not be able to be continued , why would anyone come back and play? "Sorry, we got starters doing something this weekend, we win". Just cite the case of Hillsboro v. MICDS 2024, case closed. This whole situation as stupid. North definitely is already learning what it is like to be the hunted and Liberty was shocked by Lee's Summit probably peeking ahead.Despite last week, I am throwing this one up. Should be a good game.
Not nearly as often as fans, parents, trainers, JV football coaches, 7v7 coaches, etc., etc.
I don't know how many of those types told me Brady Cook would never play at Mizzou. Instead of admitting they were wrong, now they all say something like, "he's just in a system" as if their favorite kid that Mizzou didn't recruit could do the same.
Fans, parents, trainers, 7v7 coaches never have to admit when they're wrong. College coaches risk losing millions in future earnings when they're wrong. They face actual accountability.
I'll listen to them, especially when they speak en masse.
Webb 28-21Sometimes you have to avoid the traps 🕳️…JS
Webb CitySeveral awesome matchups this week:
Nixa @ Webb
Lebanon @ Joplin
Glendale @ Willard
Waynesville @ Republic
Ozark @ Carthage
Kickapoo @ Neosho
There is potentially 5 close games this week...I don't think there will be, but it is possible.
Gotcha, I was thinking he was a senior I guess just from how good he played. He'll be a stud this year and next!Yes, conference offensive player of the year last year as a sophomore.
It was 41-34 in OT.BC beat MU 3 years ago or so and handled them well. No doubt they can.
BC beat MU 3 years ago or so and handled them well. No doubt they can.BC @ Mizzou 9/14 suddenly looks more "interesting"
Lefty Soph QB had a tough night. Never know off 1 game but we've all been watching this sport for lots of years I tend to believe both Ds were beyond legit. This week won't tell much but BOY will Week 3 for both teams!I'm hoping Fort doesn't play a defense better than Kearney the rest of the year. I was expecting a little more offensively from Kearney but I'm hoping that was just a result of the Fort defense playing so well.....and with a defense like that they won't have to score a lot of points.
