Interesting developments MICDS vs Hillsboro
They also signed a contract to play 4 quarters. Mshsaa will be the one to settle this mess

Pretty accurate. I think Ozark is better, just not sure how much better. Should get a decent gauge next week at Carthage.Willard is BAD
And Glendales best returning player transferred in the offseason so not surprised by those outcomes.
Glendale on their 3rd coach in 3 years doesn’t help either.
I figured neosho and ozark would both roll, but not necessarily because they’re both good.
MSHSAA probably doesn’t have the capacity to settle messes. Just look at the mess they are themselves. 🤷🏻♂️They also signed a contract to play 4 quarters. Mshsaa will be the one to settle this mess
If weather won’t allow, I’d assume you are correct.MICDS signed a contract to play Friday night. Hillsboro doesn't have the sole authority to change the terms of the contract. MICDS has to agree to any new terms.

Different entitled and coddled private schoolIs that the same team that didn’t want to finish the state championship game last year?
Tough $h!t. If you can’t finish the game because you have a chess tournament or a date on Saturday then you can forfeit.MICDS was given the option earlier Friday morning to simply move the game to Saturday Evening, so weather would not be an issue. They wanted to play tonight. When the game was delayed they were told again that we had officials for Saturday to finish the game. Hillsboro Coaches and administration were told that they would have starters not available to play Saturday. Not much else to it.
I watched the first half of that game last night. It’s on YouTube from both WP & MH broadcasting groups. No shame for WP there: Mountain Home is on my AR championship watch list...............
Is that the same team that didn’t want to finish the state championship game last year?Hillsboro and MICDS are having the same issues but they officially have officials secured to continue the matchup tomorrow. I have not seen though of a start time or if MICDS has agreed to continue.
I have seen programs go from 30+ players in one year to less than 20 in another year. That is why enrollment should be used. You can’t have number of players deciding whether a team SHOULD be 8-man. Moving up and down based on number of players would be a disaster. It would be a problem not only for that program, but also for every team they scheduled with. And then trying to schedule games in the future would be a nightmare. So it’s time to stop complaining about number of players on an 8-man roster.
Unless you are an old man who just likes to yell at clouds because that is just as useful.
Willard is BADOzark and Neosho both won by a landslide. I picked both of them to win but wasn’t necessarily expecting them to dominate. The rest of the COC went exactly as I expected.
Week 3 Platte County and that spread offense with a now experienced big time QB will be Fort's real test moving forward.Came away from this one with very mixed feelings will get into later..................off to Pick Em for now.
Just put them in Class 5 and call that the private class.it seems like Bo should be in a higher class from the success factor multiplier. Are they only 1A based on enrollment?
No shame for WP there: Mountain Home is on my AR championship watch list...............The week 1 performance by the former OC teams:
Camdenton 53, Jeff City 28
Hillcrest 33, SGF Central 0
Webb City 35, Lebanon 13
Joplin 30, Kickpaoo 7
Neosho 51, Glendale 13
Carthage 55, Waynesville 7
Osage 35, Bolivar 0
Festus 20, Rolla 6 (PPP in fourth)
Mt Home (AR) 43, West Plains 21

They have 36 players on the roster and in their team photo.
I sure hope this doesn’t become commonplace for 8 man. Both of these schools have been 8 man since it’s inception if I’m not mistaken but come on now
