Fort Osage 21 - Belton 0

That’s not true they were missing Peppers and the Lineman that got kicked out…. And their QB but I think 15 is going to start regardless if 2 gets healthy by end of season. He just throws it better and is a decent runner

Shrum can chuck it a mile. Definitely some college potential. Needs to take the easy passes once in a while. He looked to be wanting to throw deep ball every play
Oh yeah and Thompson is a man amongst boys. Single handedly won the game for Fort tonight by running the ball and making tackles everywhere

Fort Osage 21 - Belton 0

Anthony Thompson played both ways 130+yds rushing and 2 TDs.
Fort had 6 starters on offense out.
I know Shrum is a baseball commit but he has college potential at QB. Lots of dropped passes for Belton

St. Vincent 24 Valle Catholic 7 (Final)

Agreed. I would even venture to say St V would give Marionville everything they wanted. Forsyth certainly did tonight.
They should, they have that unfair advantage! They have more of an advantage than Valley, they can rob from a class 4 school, Valley can only rob from a small class 3 school. They recruit and cheat obviously

NWCMO Pick Em Week 2 peek at standings after Friday results

So far looks like some good jockeying for position and these are definitely up in the air because of good splits in all 3 games tomorrow:

CaptainMullet and HermanBoone (who was solo Liberty pick, congrats) are leading with 19 pts.

Veer2Eternity and HHSX2 are close in tow with 18.

Several have 17 and on down the line................

Will do my best to update after the first two regularly scheduled games but there will be a gap tomorrow evening because it is POOL, DARTS and COLLEGE BALL time at the local watering hole (my Dad trying to teach me how to be a masters pool shooter is a whole new comedy routine) so will post everything most likely Sunday Morning along with what will be a GREAT Week 3 slate. GOOD LUCK everyone!

Cantwell High school 55. Webb 21

Good lord there are some ignorant people on this board. Do you actually not know what the word “amazing” means???

Cantrel is about 6’8” tall and weighs around 300 pounds. With his size and weight it is not amazing that he can throw a steel ball 70’,,,,,,now if he was 5’9” and 140 pounds then it would be truly amazing if he could throw 70’.

If he could pole vault 19’ that would be truly AMAZING

With his size it is not amazing at all he is a decent lineman at the high school level. Again if he was 5’9” and 140 pounds and got a scholarship to a college as a lineman THAT would be truly AMAZING

There is nothing wrong with you being ignorant,,,that just means you have never been educated. Go back to school and work on it and you will get it someday
Now you are the ignorant one. Say what you want about his football ability being "decent" that is definitely subjective. Name me the number of Sophmores (a young sophomore at that) that have thrown a steel ball 74'. I have seen some massive throwers not get close to that distance. That distance is not easy, even for his size. He beat the Missouri State record by over 7 feet, and he was just a sophomore. How is it not amazing?

Highway 92 Week Two SWEEP

Platte County shows its legitimacy tonight winning by 31 at GV (next two weeks are good tests, too).

Smithville beats another overmatched opponent and has now outscored a zillion to 0.

Kearney gets HC Logan Minnick win number TWENTY FIVE in just over two years at KMO in a beyond expected result.

All that being said Excelsior Springs gets the prize of the night as new HC Danneman wins his FIRST. CONGRATS!

Next week is a huge showdown in aforementioned Smithville cannot wait!

Upset Prediction Week #2. Liberty over Liberty North (#1)

Justhafax nailed it. Real genius.
attended this game in person. Penalty fest! Liberty can’t throw a ball anywhere and it’s not lack of QB ability but offensive scheme. Hicks RB is a stud but how long will he last.

Liberty North cost themselves with personal foul penalties late giving LHS first downs in pass situations. If they rematch in districts maybe Liberty North gets wise and let’s Tillman Martin throw the rock!!
