COC nonconference games

This sounds great if they would do it. It'd be nice if they could renew Lebanon-Camdenton and Webb City-Pittsburg, KS, plus maybe some geographical games like Neosho-Mac County, etc.
The end of some pretty old/big rivalries is probably the biggest loss from the end of the Ozark Conference. I had the privilege of going to a couple of Camdenton/Lebanon games over the years and the place is always packed with thousands of people. Really cool environment!

Final Missouri Media Rankings (They might actually get the top teams right!)

Class 6
1. De Smet (9), 12-2, 90, 5
2. Nixa, 13-1, 81, T2
3. Lee’s Summit North, 10-1, 66, T2
4. Liberty, 9-4, 57, NR
5. Kirkwood, 9-3, 46, NR
6. C.B.C., 9-2, 41, 1
7. Lee’s Summit, 8-3, 27, 7
8. Rock Bridge, 10-2, 26, 8
9. Blue Springs South, 8-3, 22, 4
10. Park Hill, 9-3, 12, 9

Two of the top 5 weren't even ranked in the last rankings. In their defense, De Smet kinda came out of nowhere to win this one. Not a lot of people were talking about them as a true contender leading into the last few rounds of the playoffs.
Class 5

1. Platte County (9), 14-0, 90, 2
2. Helias, 12-2, 75, 4
3. Lafayette: Wildwood, 12-2, 70, NR
4. Cardinal Ritter, 9-2, 61, 1
5. MICDS, 11-3, 49 , NR
6. St. Pius X: Kansas City, 10-2, 45, 3
7. Republic, 10-3, 31, NR
8. Webb City, 6-7, 18, NR
9. Cape Girardeau Central, 10-2, 14, 8
10. Carthage, 9-2, 12, 6

I think this class ended up being much weaker than we thought outside of PC. Helias was a solid team but nothing special and you could definitely make the argument that they are truly the second best in the state.
Class 4

1. Lutheran North (9), 13-1, 90, 1
2. Kearney, 12-1, 80, 2
3. Festus, 11-3, 64, NR
4. Warrenton, 12-1, 55, 6
5. Parkway North, 9-3, 47, NR
6. Warrensburg, 11-2, 44, 7
7. Savannah, 8-4, 27, 10
8. Pleasant Hill, 8-3, 21, 8
9. West Plains, 8-4, 15, NR
10. Kirksville, 9-1, 14, 3

First one where the second best team did not make the finals. Kearney is the obvious #2 team though and if them and LN played 10 times I think it would be split pretty evenly.
Class 3

1. Blair Oaks (9), 13-1, 90, 1
2. Seneca, 13-1, 81, 2
3. Lift for Life, 8-6, 61, NR
4. Maryville, 9-5, 58, 9
5. Mount Vernon, 9-4, 52, 7
6. Odessa, 7-5, 33, NR
7. (tie) Dexter, 11-1, 30, 3
7. (tie) Strafford, 9-2, 30, 5
9. John Burroughs, 9-3, 23, 8
10. St. Francis Borgia, 9-1, 16, 4

What a championship game! Blair Oaks and their coaching staff should be proud about beating this Seneca team. Looks like the rest of Class 3 has some catching up to do in the offseason.
Class 2

1. Lamar (9), 11-4, 90, NR
2. Fair Grove, 14-1, 81, 1
3. Bowling Green, 12-2, 71, 4
4. Warsaw, 10-1, 51, 3
5. Lafayette County, 10-2, 48, 5
6. Valle Catholic, 10-2, 47, 2
7. South Shelby, 11-2, 38, NR
8. (tie) Mid-Buchanan, 12-1, 26, 6
8. (tie) Pembroke Hill, 11-1, 26, T9
10. Hermann, 8-3, 4, NR

For the state champion to be NR in the previous rankings is pretty crazy. I think we all counted them out early in the season and they continued to improve. They were battle tested and that is probably what gave them an edge in the close game they had in the finals. Poor Fair Grove just hasn't been able to get over the Lamar hump.

Class 1

1. Adrian (9), 13-1, 90, 3
2. Marionville, 11-1, 72, 2
3. (tie) Penney, 9-5, 68, NR
3. (tie) St. Vincent, 12-1, 68, 1
5. Tipton, 11-2, 55, 4
6. Ash Grove, 8-3, 40, 5
7. Van-Far, 8-3, 26, 7
8. Salisbury, 8-3, 17, 10
9. Harrisburg, 7-5, 16, NR
10. Pierce City, 7-4, 12, NR

The only other class where the second best team wasn't in the championship and the team that was, wasn't even ranked in the final rankings of the season.

Thomas Jefferson on Constitutions

I'm far from being a constitutional scholar but I believe most/all "originalist" constitutional scholars would say that they believe in and support the existing methods to modify the Constitution.

This is and interesting and short read: https://www.thoughtco.com/how-to-amend-the-constitution-3368310

My real point is that the current state of hyper-partisan atmosphere in our government (that the founders hoped would not be the case) doesn't allow for it to change to follow the "progress of the human mind," as Jefferson put it.

Bill Belichick to UNC

Hard to bet against him. He clearly knows how to coach. Depends on the recruiting dynamic. If he is able to surround himself with the right people and let them do their job then he should be fine.

Demanding his son be the next head Coach is an interesting part. Highly unlikely that his son is even close to the coach that he is. But I can definitely see why a school like UNC would go for it.

Thanks ChaoticFanatic

But does his heart deserve (or can even handle) it?
I think it has been quite awhile since Bosko has been able to see a rise!
Okay you bozos and nincompoops! First, MY HEART is just FINE!!! You can even ask my doctor!!! Second, MY WIFE enjoys MY rise ALL THE TIME!! Yeah, yeah, yeah. Blow up doll, blow up doll. Think of something new, CLOWN!
