PAYBACK WEEK FOR COMETS

I think Adrian wins this one. Maybe not quite double digits but in that ballpark. Adrian's run defense is legit! ( Last week held Ash Grove to -13 rushing yards) #77 and #53 will take a double team to avoid them from being in the backfield almost every play. The linebackers are nothing to sleep on as they are flying around and plugging those inside runs.

Adrian's RB is a work horse rarely being tackled on first contact. The QB has an arm and can hurt you with his legs.


Where Adrian does lack is on pass defense, QB trying to extend plays and make silly mistakes, and silly penalties that kills drives.

No a week 1 team should not be a week 10 team but that being said we shouldn't be so off that we lose to Ozark and then beat PC in our swing.

I’m not saying it’s the rule. I’m saying it happens, as you also know. But rarely is anyone’s week 1 team their week 10 team for various reasons, sometimes including the ones I mentioned. I’m should also mention that I don’t have any idea what’s going on there any more than you do, so perhaps it’s best to reserve judgment, at least for now.

That game is impossible to pick with confidence. Both have been sooooooo inconsistent. Thing is whomever prevails I see little or no path past the semi opponent one Blair Oaks.

Webb while getting to where they are is impressive but PC is a different animal trust me. They can do it by running or passing or pretty much anything they want. Only thing that could mess this game up could be the weather. Now coming to Webb as long as they are not beat when they get off the bus which seems to happen a lot there I don't see this game close.
