BO vs Hallsville

So what is BO's secret other than "hard work"? Just a super desirable area to live for wealthy people? They're always head and shoulders above the rest of the states public schools(same class). How do they do that on a consistent basis?
One of those age old mysteries. Wardsville is now a town that basically only has nice houses so you probably have to have quite a bit of money to live there unless you or your family has lived there for a long time. They also magically get a number of move ins. They also have an amazing coach which helps. However, they are good at basically every sports every year which shouldn't be possible with a public school because there should be down years just based on a lack of talent. If your school always has talent and never has down years. Something fishy is going on.

Pirates Falter and Two Privates Falls!!!

Warrensburg D is pretty much near the bottom. They have given up 6-10 points above Opponent's average scoring to most of the teams they have faced.
They have a great QB and RB seems like they want to win shootout after shootout. Only blemish was first Pleasant Hill game. Therein lies another issue SCHEDULE. Much as I love the MRVC West it just flat won't prep anyone for these very physical major teams like Kearney (I think Smithville or Savannah who played Pleasant Hill very tough as well may have won this D7 and that league).

Pirates Falter and Two Privates Falls!!!

Lutheran North on offense versus:

Alabama Team

244 Rushing (5.81 ypc), 94 passing 117 return yards (48% of total yards)

MICDS

214 Rushing Yards, 137 passing 48 returns (14% of total yards)

Cardinal Ritter
164 Rushing (3.78 ypc) Passing 164, 209 return yards (45% of total yards)

Overall 33% of total yards from KO returns. Kick through the end zone? I wonder who does that?

DEFENSE

Vs. MICDS

MICDS Offense had...

35 Rushes for 164 yards (4.69 ypc)
145 yards passing
4 returns for 69 yards
LN got three Ints (red alert)

Cardinal Ritter Offense had....
43 carres for 366 yards (8.51 ypc)
28/35 passing for 373 yards
739 Yards on Offense
LN got two INTS (red alert)

Lesson: Don't throw too much. But you can run on them. See previous posts about lines.
Haha I am composing one of those huge threads for this one provided it happens. That single path I could see WBurg drawing KMO into a shootout is fading fast. Not sure where this Tigers D would rate on Kearney's schedule but I'd say not near the top. My main LN issue is DEPTH. Will they need it come Q4 is a huge question.................see I can't resist superstitious as I am about doing this when a game is not even on the slate yet.

Pirates Falter and Two Privates Falls!!!

A match-up contrast with Park Hill's Air Coryell. Someone was blubbering on here about Park Hill's O-line being one of the best in the state. Okay...
21-17 the last time, in favor of Park Hill. I'm guessing Liberty overcomes. They had internal issues going on at that time. They don't now.
FYI: Liberty's lines are better.
I've seen them both and couldn't agree more especially the left to center of Liberty's OL the C and LG are YUGE.

Each Classes game of the week?

C6 I got
Nixa @ LSN with LSN winning and ill be there in person

C5 I got
Helias @ Republic with Republic winning

C4 I got
Warrenton @ West Plains with Warrenton winning in a much closer game than is being predicted

C3 I got
Maryville @ Odessa with Odessa stunning Maryville

C2 I got
Fair Grove @ Lafayette County with LC winning

C1 I got
Adrian @ Marionville with Adrian winning a tight one

Let me know if you think anything different game wise or outcome.
I got time (slow rainy Monday LOL) to peek at all the regional States I follow especially this time of year and Bentonville AR is indeed alive and well in Arkansas 7A but Conway looms Thanksgiving Weekend. Regardless no way anyone should put LSN down for beating them and Mill Valley KS who lost a single point thriller that was essentially the KS 5A championship game. Also remember Bentonville took vaunted Tulsa Union to OT to open 2024.

Since Webb is on bottom of bracket

No
This week Webb host it's 2nd
This week FZW host it's 2nd
This week MICDS is on road but have hosted twice.

Therefore for Webb to host they would need FZW to win that way number of games is tied at 2( 1st option), both hosted a quarter (2nd option), and then bottom bracket is final deciding factor.

If MICDS wins as predicted they will have same number hosted but didn't host a quarter.
Yep,l do think that’s right,,, but FZW would have to come to Webb??

HomeyR vs. BoosterBosko

WHOA HOOOOOOOO!!! BOSKO LIKEY!!! Gentlemen, were starting the week out RIGHT!!

Also, you are correct. I do NOT work weekends. Wanna know why? I am a RETIRED STEEL WORKER!!! I dont work ANY DAY of the week!!! I ONLY worked weekends when it was OT or some sort of bonus pay at the mill. NICE TRY BOZO!!!!

BO vs Hallsville

Ah yes, LN also decided to use BO as a measuring stick. They got their rear ends beat for a few years then last year and this year they got better and played a more complete game and beat not only BO but as you might have seen... Cardinal Ritter as well. So I am sure you saw that. Those 2 wins are the only 2 wins any of the STL private schools had against them since John Burroughs in 2015.
I wish LN would bring back their old HS coach... The wing T was much easier to defend. :)

BO vs Hallsville

2 years ago, in the Class 2 semifinals, Blair Oaks traveled to Bowling Green in what many in Bowling Green considered the biggest game in Bowling Green history. They knew who BO was and knew how big of a task it would be to take them down. BG packed their stadium 3 times over. BO fans traveled quite well as well. BO won 66-48 in a Dylan Hair showcase.

2 years later, during BG's senior day for football, several seniors were asked what their biggest thrill during their time at BG. was 5 of those seniors noted that playing Blair Oaks 2 years prior was their biggest thrill in the semifinals in 2022.

Why am I talking about that when BO is playing Hallsville. Well, it's simple, Hallsville needs to enjoy the moment as a team and as a town.

Final score will be about 66-7 or 59-12 if Hallsville catches a break and actually finds the endzone. No exaggeration. BO defense gets free donuts if they are able to shut out the other team. So far they have done it 5 times this season. Hallsville is playing their best ball by far right now but BO makes their living of making good teams look bad by taking what you do best away from you. Good Luck Hallsville, bring the entire town, make a ton of noise, pack that stadium 3 times over so they all can enjoy the moment but it will be over before halftime on Saturday.
Same could be said of BO when they travelled to Cardinal Ritter in the semi finals a years back. Man what a game. LB III was shut down by the great corners of BO.

C5 Week 4 Playoff Predictions by cal preps

@HHSX2 your presence is being requested
Sorry was on vacation today. LOL We brought back the majority of the team from last year. Personally, I think our defense is better than last years squad once they got everything figured out earlier in the year. Offense is pretty good on both run and pass. Still haven't seen that one signature offensive game as of yet. I know they worked on defending the onside kick. IYNYK. Should be a good game. I like our chances but I wouldn't put money on it.

Since Webb is on bottom of bracket

Will the semifinal game be at WC no matter who wins the other quarterfinal???
No

Pirates Falter and Two Privates Falls!!!

Loved the pirate take, but unfortunately the only Pirate standing still is Platte Co.!!! As far as privates, CBC and John Burroughs eliminated. If I sub in DeSmet in Class 6 and Lift for LIfe (Open Enrollment Charter School), the new Private Sweep looks like this:

Class 6 DeSmet
Class 5 Cardinal Ritter
Class 4 Lutheran North
Class 3 Lift for Life
Class 2 Valle
Class 1 St. Vincent

Really looking forward to this weekend but I hope we get to see the Cardinal Ritter v Platte Co in Class 5 (Finals) and Kearney v Lutheran N in Class 4 (Semi) in the future. Both of those games would be must purchase and watch!!!

Webb City 42 Ctown 28 Final !!

GV will depend on the transfer portal.... I mean the development of sophmore QB. RB is loaded not as much as last 2 years to start but I got my eye on a junior to pair with the #2 back from this year. D should improve as well.

They are still not as good as PC or PIUS in my opinion
As long as Allie is there GV is always on my watchlist. I am a smidge concerned about Fort, though.
