Belton is open

8man ain't football.
Then you haven't been a part of it. It's actually still the purest form of ball left. No player movement from town to town for a better situation... Rivalries that span 50+ years as grandkids are playing against the same family bloodlines in the small towns. Great sportsmanship still shown to other teams on the whole and just kids that love the game and not playing for the glory or looking for offers.

Trump's Cabinet

I haven't heard this speculation anywhere so I will ask here.
I know they said Trump picked JD because Jr and Eric thought a Rubio would look to undermine him and take over after he pushed the 25th amendment.
Is it possible he is trying to staff the cabinet with as many people who could not get those jobs if it weren't for him, so they will not be willing to stab him in the back with the 25th.
Or is it possible that he just went down Comet Ping Pong and said no reason to do this stuff here, when we can all be in the White House together?

NW Missouri State fired HC

D2 only has 36 Full Scholarships to give. Can be partial to make your roster, which is what happens. 36 to get to 85-100.
D1 will have 105 Roster spots. You can give full or partial for that up to the 105
NIL can go on top of all of it, if available.
Big D1s will not be able to carry over 105. They will have temp players that on not on the roster come time for the season. Because you need to go 8-9 deep on a lot of spots.

Somebody jump in here on D2. Why the F don't they increase the limit on that too? Schools like UCM and NW MO would fund it to the max.

Any accountants out there? When a school "funds" a scholarship the only hard cost is the normal tuition fee % budgeted to expenses. One extra body in the auditorium for Psych 1 isn't going to put the big college out of business. Same form the dorm cost. Food expense. Now that is another matter. A hard freakin' cost.
If you want to spend more money then move up a level. It’s pretty simple. I think you may be shocked how many D2 schools are not fully funded. I don’t know about now but a few years ago about half of MIAA programs not fully funded.
Also, some states do not allow any government money to be used on athletics. It’s pretty hard to get those programs fully funded privately.

The 21-22 team that went 8-3 and was runner up was a really good team. If Wyatt had stayed that year they would have won districts and made a run in the playoffs. It was probably the best team of that run. But the drop off in coaching was immediate and huge.

That place is a giant waiting to happen again for the right coach. Good facilities, good resources and they always have athletes.

I am sure their dream world is they get Wyatt to come back. Normally I would think no way that could happen, but with all the issues and rumblings at WP the last couple years who knows. No one ever thought he would go back to Willow either.

Should be a interesting hire and search.
