I agree, I noticed one of their starters was not in this game. He has been a playmaker the last 2. I think Joplin will be fine, I think Nixa's size got in their heads a bit.
No doubt Nixa is Good. I agree that maybe Joplin was a bit intimidated or just beat going in. Too many little uncharacteristic mistakes. Again. I did not hold out high hopes for a win, but to be goose-egged……. 49-0. Hard to swallow tonight.
Looks like the good ole days have returned at South. I listened to the PrepsKC broadcast this week. Sounds like they have a lot of youth as well so they will be a major threat in the years to come. That is an unreal turnaround for a program that was 1-19 2020-2021.
Not sure what Wilmes has done there that is so different. Curious if anyone knows the scoop.
They were the beat 1 win team in Class 6 last year. @thetophat2021 and I mentioned it several times they were right on the cusp just needed to grow and here they are
60 yd bomb. Rocco is the best QB prospect I've seen as a junior. Calm in pocket, throws very accurately out of multiple arm angles, backpedaling etc and very quick.

Honestly. This will be webb. We graduate a lot. Run an advanced offense. Lots of new faces every year. We will start rough and then once the seniors slowly get replaced that cant do it they will be a tough out in playoffs. Webb just not growing like every other school. Inexperience at coaching also. 7 coaches under 25 years old. Roll with the punches.
I want to see WC be successful. Just not seeing it tonight or this year to be honest. The Lebanon win was a gift from the Yellow Jackets if you look it with your eyes open.
