What was the name of the Ste Gen QB that played for SIU and then had a cup of coffee in the NFL? Think maybe he was backup at San Fran???
I will be shocked if Helias and Camdenton are within 3 scores. I'm sure the projections get better as the year goes on as they have more data.Calpreps projections
Smith-Cotton 26 at Jefferson City 31
Rock Bridge 35 vs. Capital City 34
Helias 42 at Camdenton 31
Battle with whoever it is they co-op with cause who cares 38 vs. Hickman 35
@65TPT Looks like the computer agrees with you. Should definitely be the best game of the 4
Thanks! My bad though, I thought this was strictly geared toward athletics. No offense to their rankings, but I can't imagine St. E. is really that good.
Same. And I thought the same last week too. Those puters sure are smart!Interesting how close those scores are to about what I would have predicted.
I'm fairly certain that's the "all COC" rankings the conference releases. Iirc...They list all conference sports across the x axis and schools down the y axis. They put their conference finish in each sport (10 for 1st in the old alignment, 9 for 2nd, and so on) and then total them up.I saw one of these that was done by a Christian County paper. Nixa was 1st in boys and girls sports. CJ was 4th in girls sports and 10th in boys.
Webb has a really good freshman class so he will be judged on how they do.Last year if you look at it was really a pretty solid finish. Now I do know some dads who were really upset because they felt like it was a game that should have been won and would have been won with better coaching.
This year may or may not shape up to be an actual turd. It looks a lot like Roderiques second year. No matter what happens, especially considering injuries, this year is what it is. Salvage what you can and look to the future. People will move on if the next few years are good.
It's well understood that there is a lot of promising talen coming up next year and beyond. So in my mind utilizing that talent and getting results in that time frame will be important. I don't think he has to win state but what definitely cannot happen is establish a reality that being in Webb CIty's district is not a death sentence.
Man, it's what we do today, huh?Imagine generalizing
There is even a kid at CJ who is playing some varsity as a freshman who was at Webb a year or 2 ago.Our biggest issue has been move outs, top tier players recently moving to OKlahoma and Florida to play football doesn’t help
I think over the years their algorithm has gotten better and better at projecting the actual scores. Could be wrong but it does seem that way.Interesting how close those scores are to about what I would have predicted.

I think Republic wins by more but looks like a good projection otherwise.Calpreps projections for the week now that they have some data for the current season.
- Ozark 21 @ Webb 38
- Kickapoo 14 @ REPMO 28
- Glendale 0 @ Joplin 42
- Nixa 48 @ Carthage 21
- Lebanon 35 @ Willard 17
- Waynesville 17 @ Neosho 55
I saw one of these that was done by a Christian County paper. Nixa was 1st in boys and girls sports. CJ was 4th in girls sports and 10th in boys.Kind of. Ozark and Republic were still clearly better than the rest but not as good as Nixa. Neosho and to a lesser extent Carl Junction were really the only non-competetive ones when you just look strictly at wins and losses. When enrollment was used as a factor it actually showed Carl Junction as outperforming most of the COC except for the other wealthy districts with low diversity.
What are these "offers" that so many kids post? They currently have more than 400 offers reported to kids in the 2026 class alone.
