I work in deep North County. I have never felt unsafe anywhere here
I lived in North County my last few years in STL.
I never felt unsafe in my neighborhood but you go about a mile west of me and phew.
Used to go to a place called Cue & Cushion in overland to get dart supplies a lot and the one time I went there after dark, the guy behind the counter said “hey man, I’ve never had to tell you this because you come during the day, but when you leave, get in your truck and get the hell outta here” LOL
Also used to go to house parties in U City and that could get a little sketch from time to time.
