Who's goin where?

I'm trying to decide if I want to brave the nearly 100 degree temps to watch Carthage and Nixa. Probably will if for no other reason than I learned last week that I can't count on Carthage to stream the game and I've previously complained about Nixa having the most annoying announcers imaginable even though their stream is very good from a technical aspect.

On a kind of related note does anyone know why Webb City's stream is just a single camera with no score or other graphics now? The used to run a multi camera show and would have the score and such at the bottom. Odd that both they and Carthage's media partner has downgraded the video stream this year.

Headed to my Wife's hometown to see the Tigers & Eagles duke it out. Should be the best game in the state.

No answer to your question, but the Webb app on Roku isn’t working for me either. I just screen shared off my computer last week.

Miller at Diamond right now (lightning delay at halftime Diamond up 8-6)

Stuck between going to Nixa at Carthage since I’ve already watched Nixa at Webb … or hopping into Oklahoma to catch Fairland at Wyandotte to see how Buckmaster is doing. He earned career victory No. 160 in the season opener.

I will be at Worth County to see #4 Albany play #7 Worth County in what will most likely be for the GRC West championship.
I will be in Hopkins for #9 Nodaway Valley at #2 Platte Valley (The Battle for the Valley). It won’t decide the Highway 275 yet but it’s one of the first big matchups between conference title hopefuls (NV, PV, South Holt and Rock Port).

KNEO sucks.

Headed to the garden spot of southwest MO, Liberal, for the New Heights v Bulldogs matchup. Two years ago the field at LHS epitomized the old football adage, "Three yards and a cloud of dust". I mean literally, dust was hanging over the field. Given the drought conditions we're currently under, I don't expect much of a difference this evening. However, after the drive up highway 43, I should be able to provide this board with an update on the progress of the corn harvest in Barton County. Have a great weekend, safe travels, cheer hard, may the calves of your speed positions stay uncramped.

I've always thought they did a pretty great job. Until recently I thought it was one of the better streams in the area.
Was but lately it has been a barebones broadcast. Would rather see our own media department take it over like joplin and carthage does.

I'm actually surprised they haven't been doing that for a long time.

I like the student productions the only thing I wish they would do is keep adults (preferably with actual broadcasting experience) doing the commentary. Some schools let kids do the commentary and it can be tough to listen to at times.

Regular season livestreaming could be handled by a team of monkeys on the cameras and Romo, Collinsworth and Gary Danielson doing the commentary. It's generally free and tradition states when it's free, you usually get what you pay for. But in the postseason when big brother MSHSAA steps in all heavy handed and makes you pay, then it's nice to have a decent, reliable stream and a couple folks that have rudimentary knowledge of the game.
