hall of fame coach great town supports very little competition in their conference they are Webb and will always be webb. They would win any class 4 conference in the state. Some of the conference school are pretty good but they are nowhere near what Webb bring but that is true of any class 4 or 5 schools in the state.

Lololol imagine believing a majority of them only transfer during their 8th grade year. I bet you believe it’s only for religious purposes too.
When I say "from" there I am just talking about parents grew up somewhere else in the area, then moved to WC when their kids were starting school and sports. I know a ton of people in this category. Lot of them joke about if you can't beat em join em!
People move and position their kids for success, nothing wrong with this of course. Just from an outside perspective, it can be frustrating to compete against them. The one or two kids on the other side of the field that moved from your town don't generally tip the scale. Until you factor in all the kids from all the other towns that also moved to WC when they started sports. That's why WC never runs out of talent.
That and the run the same system from 3rd grade up (simplified for the younger ages) and they do a hell of a job in preparing the “next man up”....
Very true but you can't prepare a solid next man up 2 or 3 kids deep at every position without the right kind of numbers.
The 3rd grade thing is a joke. Every school outside of the metro has youth football. You can run whatever plays you want but they don't work without talent.
Well that's because they don't transfer in 9th grade, their parents move when kids are 5 or 6. It's not a conspiracy when I actually know these folks, many of them are friends or family so I know where they all moved from.
For what it's worth I am not a WC hater. I lived there for a long time and went to school there for awhile as well. I have family playing sports in both Webb City and Carthage as well as good friends coaching, teaching or administration in both. I see a lot under the hood in both these towns.
