Hannibal actually has a very good DB coach. From what I know he played in college. I believe he works mainly with the safeties, but oversees the coverage. High school DBs, especially corners, have a tendency to look at the QB instead of their man. I've seen Hannibal's corners do that quite a bit. I doubt very seriously if they are being taught to do that. I think the problem with Hannibal is, mainly in their conference games, they are just better than the WRs they are playing, and they try to get by on athletic ability. Once they play better competition, they haven't been playing with technique, and get beat by good WRs. Also. like what happend in the WP game, Hannibal's DL got little to no pressure. Their DL is pretty good against the run, but they have no real pass rush threat from the DL. They've had to rely on bringing LBs to get pressure all year.
