I'm wondering the same thing.

Granted, they play half their schedule against some of the top teams in St. Louis, but they've also lost half of their games on schedule so....

When they win, they win BIG. When they lose, they lose by one TD or less....1 point to Webster and 7 points to Ritenour, both top 10 teams.

The loss to Pkwy Central was 20-7.

Can't argue with those lists. I suspect the Class 6 teams from KC will beat the St. Louis schools. But they have to prove it. Blue Springs has lost some big games this year. LSW could run the table, but they will beat each other up on the way to the Dome (oh, I mean Faurot Field.)

I suspect Rockhurst has a different opinion. This class is up for grabs.

It seems as though the tide has begun to turn the last few years. StL area teams, especially Class 5 and Class 6, have taken notice how to win at state and are doing so.

It'll be interesting to see how things shake out this year.

Last year was good. Winning Class 5 and 6. But for six years before that, St. Louis schools have only won 2 out of 12 titles.

Webb vs class 5 champ would be an awesome matchup. IDK about class 6 as I think this may be the deepest its ever been.

Camentdton falls out of 4A

2 KC teams take a kick in the groin.

Top 3 teams - the best in Class 4 - stay put. No surprises. They are the elite.

1. Webb City, 8-0
2. Carl Junction, 7-1
3. Platte County, 7-1

Two St. Louis teams move in to the next two spots:

4. Parkway Central, 7-1
5. Ladue, 6-2

And then the rest of the top 10 (Yawn), the fodder teams for the elite above...

6. Kearney, 6-2
7. St. Francis Borgia, 8-0
8. Smithville, 7-1
9. MICDS, 6-2
10. Parkway North

Is this Parkway North team better than last years team? Because they struggled with the veer and physicality last year in the semifinal.
