Until proven otherwise, those lists look good. Hannibal at #2..getting more respect than some other polls. They'd be even better if they played tougher competition.

I'm amazed that Lockwood is somehow still sitting in the Top 10 in Class 1. They beat Liberal by 9 points last Friday and I have a feeling that Liberal is going to fall to Pierce City this week with a score of something like...35-0 or 42-7?
I believe PC is playing Liberal at least.

Come playoff time, the really good teams will be knocked out pretty quick in C4. Funny, 810 Varsity in KC has Smithville and Platte County ahead of Kearney. So the state title game will be the semis again, with this rotation. The winner getting to slaughter the Eastern sacrifice.

1. Webb City (14), 1-0, 149, 1 District 5
2. Hannibal, 1-0, 121, 6 District 7
3. Harrisonville, 1-0, 102, 7 District 6
4. Carl Junction, 0-1, 88, 4 District 5

5. MICDS (1), 1-0, 77, 8
6. Kearney, 0-1, 73, 5 District 8
7. Parkway Central, 1-0, 56, NR
8. Camdenton, 1-0, 48, 9 District 5
9. Raytown South, 1-0, 47, 10 District 6

10. Ladue, 0-1, 25, 2

QND is (supposed) to be better this year. #9 in the Tri-States power poll. My point was they scheduled a larger, private school, not a cupcake. It's not their fault there's no other towns near their size in all of NEMO.

It's too bad they can't get a couple more top 12 type Class 5 teams on the schedule. I think they might have handled Kearney last year if they were just a little more battle tested.
