.
Versatile Vashon forward Kobe Clark(6-6 175) has been a key component to Wolverine success over the past two seasons. A rising star who is now drawing interest from Power Five programs is the next selection in the MOsports.com Super 50 rankings.
Clark does it all for Vashon, at times he plays point guard, at times he plays center. He is capable of guarding anyone on the court in positions 1 – 5. He can attack off the dribble and has the ability to make others better with his passing, able to pass over the top of smaller defenders. Athletic with plenty of bounce, Clark can finish with authority as opponents found out in Quincy, Illinois and fans found out in viral YouTube videos. With a wingspan that stretches far beyond his 6-foot-6 inch height, he is a defensive nightmare for opponents who can affect games in a variety of ways.
A stat stuffer, this season Clark is averaging 10.6 points, 8.4 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.3 steals, and 1.35 blocks, while connecting on 27% from beyond the arc. Clark teamed with Mario McKinney and Cam’Ron Fletcher helping the Wolverines earn the 2019 Class 3 title and Vashon is the favorite in Class 4 this season.
Clark started the season with offers from St. Louis, Missouri State, Southeast Missouri, and Louisiana-Monroe. Clark has battled top programs in the nation, including Oak Hill Academy standing tall this season. Tulsa and recently Georgetown offered during the season, while Kansas State, Oklahoma State, and DePaul are now showing interest.
