The loser of this game could be playing for their respective state title a few weeks later.
Easy path? I'd say the path in total is the toughest it's been in this 8 year run.I think Lamar will. (Easy path) Cassville not so much. But I’m hoping they make it tough path.

Who’s tougher than LN? Lathrop? CC Macon? It’s not a discredit to these teams. They just play each other. A possible 5 way tie to a conference is not impressive to me. They are equally decent.I agree with Cards. Lamar will not have an easy path to the state championship. Districts shouldn't be too much of a hurdle, but after that it could be tough going.
My heart says Lamar but my brain says Cassville. They have to lose sometime and I would rather it be here than in the playoffs. My heart says Cassville. My brain tells me Lamar. Lamar wins by 7.
When have you seen ANY of these teams play? Serious question.Who’s tougher than LN? Lathrop? CC Macon? It’s not a discredit to these teams. They just play each other. A possible 5 way tie to a conference is not impressive to me. They are equally decent.
I agree with u Brotherhood88. I should be a great game. If a feller was to come to this one I would suggest for them to come early it gonna be crowded.Lamar has a veteran secondary. If Cassville is a good passing team should make for a great game.
Agree 100 percent to be the man u got to beat the man. Several years ago the same was said about yall and yall stepped and beat the man, and yall are having a awesome run. Good luck and may the best man win..........no pun attended........lolTo be the man you gotta beat the man so until the time comes that this incredible run comes to an end my money will always be on lamar in my heavily biased opinion

Anybody got the score the last couple of times these teams met
The scores from the past three years means nothing in 2018. Cassville will be the best team Lamar has played this year and the Lamar will be the best team Cassville has played this year to date. Both teams are very well coached, both are very disciplined, very physical and very skilled. This has the makings of a classic High School Football game.
I think you have missed the point. There's little doubt that the road for Lamar will be tougher than any of the previous 7 years. Lathrop or Lawson will be a tough test, and whomever comes out of the other side will make for an epic final. Why would I? I think you are biased to these teams. I’m also not sure why someone can’t just think they are good for where they play. The CCC is a top to bottom solid conference. But no one in that conference will get very far. If no one stands out in the conference I’m not sure how you can think they can beat Lamar, or that makes Lamar’s road tougher than usual. Just kinda puzzling. I’ve also seen you and others state injuries on a few of the top teams in the conference. I’m not saying these teams are terrible.

As far as the CCC, the top 5 teams all have senior heavy squads at the same time which is why this season was so eagerly anticipated. It's gone about as I expected with a loss or two per team. I wouldn't count any of the 4 Class 2 teams making a suprise run to a semi-final, but that's about it.
I would caution anyone assuming a certain area is not worthy of discussion without having at least a cursory knowledge of what they have to offer.
That Lamar Vs Carl Junction gameKind of reminds me of the days when Lamar had to play Carl Junction for the conference title
That Lamar Vs Carl Junction game
In 2015 was amazing.
They didnt play in 15...hard to believe the 5 year anniversary of the hitch and pitch is next week
