Basically, Trump said: The men on the mountain were great men. That doesn't mean they were sinless men. But they were great men, and that doesn't mean you have to overlook their sins.

He was speaking to headlines written in the Washington Post and New York Times that have literally called for the destruction of Mt. Rushmore. (Stolen Native American Territory etc) Then these media figures act like it's made up.
These people actually agree with Colin Kaepernick, that July 4th is racist.
These are the same people that have a problem with people like me that are annoyed by the implication that there are a bunch of Americans that think Black Lives Don't Matter.
