Haven't posted on this in I don't know how long but decided to take a peek tonight.............I save all my pol stuff for twitter (and a smidge on FB) using my real name no hiding behind a screen name. This post is pretty spot on BUT you are leaving out the one word that best describes most of the snowflake crowd in this great Nation of ours that are acting like a bunch of spoiled crybabies: ENTITLED. Rodney Dangerfield was onto something way back in 1986 when, as an old college student, he told the kids to "go back home and live with your parents. Let them worry about it".
After the "Depression" Government subsidies were no longer needed to keep the American economy alive. When politicians began the process of taking those subsidies back, people cried out that they were "entitled" to that money.
Think it's fair to say, 80+ years later that Entitlements are now an American way of life.

I should have clarified I guess. I am talking about these young Millenials who are coming out of academia into the real world with this mentality. As one who has hired many of them I can tell you most act as though their "hard" work is over and we should just give them a paycheck. I was not referring at all to retirement benefits.
Maybe you should do a better job screening your applicants, make sure they are republicans and then your problem will be solved. No charge.

It is even easier when you sneak a sample to your appointment of someone else's urine. I literally had that happen a couple of years ago. The pre-employment screen failure rate is very high compared to just a few years ago BTW.
We hire people all the time that are obviously not clean. I don't know of a single pre-employment failure but have numerous refusals and auto termination for random or demanded drug tests.

He's saying that the Liberal Courts made it impossible for the Justice Department to write a travel ban that would have been effective in keeping Jihadists from entering the country. We don't know what is going on behind the scenes. Perhaps several terrorist plots have been discovered that were organized Jihadists who have infiltrated the USA from those countries.
I hope we do not have a consummated terrorist attack that proves Trump correct in desiring a comprehensive travel ban. But so far Trump has been far more correct about the terror threat than his detractors. Remember a couple months ago when he said that Muslim extremists posted a danger of rioting in Sweden. He said that on a Friday. The Libs hooted. On the following Monday the Muslims were looting, burning, and running amok in Stockholm.
Trump gets it right most of the time. If he is not shy in pointing that out, it is because too many people who should know better are still doubting him.
The travel ban is generally a braindead way to do that - look where terrorists came from on 9/11, in London last week, etc.

Contrast Trump's action to the great Liberal Muslim Mayor of London, who says that terrorism is "a normal part of big city life just like hailing a cab," and has therefore made the Muslim bloodbath in England a self-fulfilling prophesy. A travel ban for those six countries might prevent a catastrophe that would stop all commercial airline flights, for making them so exhausting that few people will put up with flying.
The Liberal Press portrays Trump as an egomaniac using the travel ban to pump himself up. It could be simpler than that. It could be that he has seen the danger and is taking steps to prevent it from killing Americans.
If the standard is Trump or X, the answer is nearly always X, as long as X is breathing and capable of uttering words in the English language.
