Good article and I know the USFL folded but the New Jersey Generals were not a semi-Pro football team. They had Hershel Walker and Doug Flutie at one time.
I agree the USFL wasn't a semi pro league at all....something Like a 180+ USFL players made it to the NFL after it folded and some went into the hall of fame.
but considering the other choice we are going to have, I will take my chances, not doubt. Its sad that we have to pick between the lesser of the two evils for President.
He was about as instrumental as Clinton was in killing Ambassador Stevens so there's that.
Trump's radical idea was playing football in the fall. The USFL was never going to be able to supplant the NFL. The only chance was for a few teams to merge like the ABA-NBA.
Think about this...not a single time traveler has shown up from the future to stop Trump. That means one of two thing. A) He doesn't become president or B) He does get elected and the world ends. If its the latter, Trump will not only have been instrumental in killing the USFL, but also the world!
Write-in? I can't imagine feeling comfy with either of the two current options. One of them, no doubt, will be pres. Unless by some stroke of luck they're both abducted by aliens at a debate.
U think Trump would have handled Benghazi better?...he would of responded with, "I have the greatest mind in th world."
He destroyed the NYFL by getting a bunch of owners together who had nothing to lose and convincing them to compete with NFL in the fall which he could never make happen.
He's doing the samething now with our country.
He's claiming to know about football when never have played a snap..samething with running our country.
Trump would not have done ANYTHING better than Clinton has....convince me otherwise.
He isn't going to win the presidency and saying you'll vote for him in public because it's better than Hillary doesn't make any sense. He hasn't made a decision on any bill, battle, or anything for that matter that deals with our country.
But he will build a wall around the entire country?....cut off imports & exports to must countries?... & cut off Muslims from entering the country?.....he won't be able to make any of that happen either.
So if anyone can answer this I can't wait to hear how the question isn't answered.

joined in 2011 and this is your first post?.... that in itself makes me a little hesitant to post... If you think Benghazi is the only problem with Clinton, there is no convincing you of anything. The lady has been involved with trouble after trouble... I will just leave it at this, and get off the political stuff on this FOOTBALL board.. If you think anyone could have done worse with the Benghazi situation then you are in denial and there is not helping you.
That makes more sense than "feeling very comfortable" about who you're voting for. One could do considerably better than the other, but to feel comfy with either of these two as POTUS for the next four years. Yikes.
Not weighing in on the issue, but I doubt it's his first post. I've been a member and Mosports poster since 2005, yet it still lists me as a rookie or whatever it is. Also says I have 6 posts in 10 years, which is not correct. Something's wrong with the data.
And it says you joined in 2006. I know when the website got updated, a lot of post counts were deleted. I wish it would have happened to sadbuttrue. That guy cares about nothing, except his post count.

I had another log in that had its post count wiped clean. Granted, I had not used that name in ages.
