3 of the 4 Class 1 districts are stupid large.
Are they planning to take a week off or will C1 title game replace 6 and play Saturday after Thanksgiving?
well the idea sounded good.
4 districts of the smallest (read : most remote) districts playing 11 man.
Well, the SWMO Class 1 11-man teams did want dependable 11-man opponents. This district gives them that. I will say it is strange that 8-man seems to overall have the more logical districts.

If I am reading MSHSAA football handbook correctly, looks like Class 1 will play 8 v 9 game during week 10. Then week 11 will be 1 v 8, 2 v 7, 3 v 6, etc. Week 12 will be district semis while classes 2-5 are playing district finals. Then while classes 2-5 are playing state Quarterfinals, Class 1 will play district finals, and then thanksgiving weekend Classes 1 through 5 will all be in semifinal action. That what I am reading.
16 districts with 3 to 4 teams in each. That would regionalize things more. Not to mention bringing back Sectional Round. Brings back even better feel to the State Playoffs.
This is sure a strange district in C4.
