Top 10 FCS Stadiums

Why do you say that?
I played there once. I was playing guard, literally three feet from the QB and the place was so freakin loud I could barely hear a thing. That was many moons ago. The turf was also horrible. But I’m sure it’s probably a great facility now. It was just a nightmare for me. Lol. In my years of playing and coaching I think I was only involved in 3 games where I was shutout and that was one of them.

I've been to a few domes. UNI, Idaho St. Holt Arena, Idaho Kibbie Dome, U South Dakota, St. Louis. I think USD and UNI had the best domes. St. Louis was nice but it's a pro field so I thought it could be better. What ticks me off is we are still paying for it and they are gone. Now Royals want a new place and so do the Chiefs. Wth, I'm tired of giving my money to places I hardly go to because it's hard to pay for it in the first place.

The Valley has a lot of great stadiums. In terms of amenities SIU is as good as anywhere, just built to a much smaller scale. Youngstown is giant and you could tell was state of the art back when Tressel was building them up, still was nice enough back in 2011 when I was there. SDSU just did a nice renovation, with a very impressive endzone facility/suites area.

Both Mo St and Illinois St are middle of the road. The recent additions on the student side at Plaster in Springfield are awesome, while the other side is old and pretty dire in certain spots but ok.

Indiana St and Western Illinois are awful dumps that look like bad NAIA facilities.

In terms of the domes, I have never been to UND, USD is not great but still unique, UNI is very nice, and NDSU is the top level and is also the loudest stadium in college football, period.
