SI Missouri Top 25 preseason.

1. Cardinal Ritter Yes, a lot of juice. Deserve this spot.

2. Liberty North Most of their all-district players are back, including their most important player, Tillman Martin.

3. De Smet

4. CBC

5. Kearney Would make a strong run in Class 6 this year.

6. Liberty

7. Lee’s Summit North Only four all-district players returning. Not sold on this team.

8. .Lutheran North Questionable. Last year with their QB gone they could not beat Maryville. Well, he is at Parkway North now.

9. Blair Oaks

10. Nixa Yeah, with only four all-district players back. So what if they have Cantwell, this isn’t track?

11. Jackson

12. Parkway North New QB could push them over the edge.

13. Carthage

14. Webb

15. Platte County

Platte County overrated. They dodged playing Kearney this year. I guess they pussed out.

Rock pays that super staff enough money that they ought to have no down years. I would not accept this if I was a Hawklet myself

Yeah their QB needs work...................:):)

Yeah, is that QB gonna fix the worst defense they've had since 2018? (Last year's D)
Gave up 36 to Smithville, 45 to Grain Valley and 35 to OP. Three of their four best defensive players graduated. :D:D:D;):D
Their overall talent level is lower.

 Oh, you didn't think about that?

Were it not for the bots would be paying no attention to any of this. I will catch up in August, bud.

In saying that, upon second view, how did those three offenses rank overall?

I hadn't really thought about the defensive side as much as I thought about the offensive side and him losing pass catchers.

Those are some good offenses that they gave up points to. I was already thinking they would be not as good as last year on the offensive side but was still excited to see marriott grow.

Those were three ELITE offenses he chose to point out.

And again, compare last year's D with the previous 6 years, it gave up more points than any of them. I was just pointing out the four examples where they gave up more than 35 points. Smithville was elite on offense last season? 😄 Okay. I guess holding them to 13 points, Kearney must have been super duper elite? No, Smithville's offense last season was probably their 4th or 5th best in the past seven years.
PC has about four tough games on the regular season schedule this year. They get out of the regular season with two or three losses. They lose to Washburn Rural by 20. They then get exposed in the post-season because the hype will not meet the reality.

He will be dynamic and fantastic. I just think overall the talent level is not at the highest level it has been relative to the teams they have put on the field. There have had some outstanding athletes/teams at PC over the past decade.

More somewhat early notes: Glad to see them rank St. Pius X and Platte County as they did. Both should enjoy huge seasons but a smidge surprised not to see my other two Metro teams to watch Fort and Liberty ranked but can put only so many in a top 25 (would have had Rock unranked).

The alma mater at #7 seems a smidge lofty to me but time will tell. I really like Lutheran North in C4 unless they somehow do move up. Very glad to see the team where their QB transferred Parkway North get some ink that could be a real good darkhorse in either C4 or 5.

CBC is loaded with incentive but agree on DeSmet. A real good out of state benchmark for them and ranked Jackson will again be Edwardsville IL. We will get into lots of great inter-state matchups once the season gets here. MO-IL and MO-KS both really look outstanding in 2024.
11th grade college recruit ranking from Iowa.
Must be fun to bench 380 as a junior.

Nah likely one or both parents got work down this way. I know I joke around sometimes but love this community wouldn't live in any other part of KC metro. Glad I moved back now.............
No ill intentions meant. GV has multiple out of state kids joining the ranks this year. If your kid is a player and you have to move for work there is nothing wrong with setting your kid in a good environment

Yeah I hope the OMC doesn't go above 9 teams. CJ should start playing Pittsburg in 2 years I think.
That probably would be a fun game given that about half of CJ either works in Pittsburg or is from Pittsburg.
