Owensville defeated St. James 80-75 in 2011 for a combined 155 points.
Highest scoring 8-man game was last year when North Shelby defeated Pattonsburg 92-88 for combined 180 points.
Speaking of 8 man, a few weeks after beating Mound City, East Atchison(Tarkio/Fairfax) lost to Stanberry 20-18 this past Friday. You want to talk about a defensive team in comparison to other 8 man teams, they have definitely proven to be that this year.
East Atchison(4-2) has won their games by an average score of 41-17 this year including beating Mound City who I believe was #1 at the time by a score of 34-6
Looks like Southwest will win the Highway 275 conference title though since they have the tiebreaker win over East Atchison.
East Atchison has went 12-1 against conference opponents over the last two years, including two wins against Mound City. They just can’t seem to beat the Panthers come district time when it really counts.
