Taking a knee from the shotgun…

So the point of taking a knee is that you do not want to take the risks of running an offensive play: Maybe you’re deep in your own territory with only a few seconds left before halftime; or the more obvious scenario where you have the lead with less than two minutes left and do not want to risk a ball carrier fumbling…

Why then would you ever take a knee out of the shotgun!?

You’re telling me that there’s more of a risk of a ball carrier fumbling the ball than there is a fumbled or high shotgun snap???🤦🏻‍♂️

Also, get off my lawn! 🤣

dumbest thing to do would be to be in shotgun all summer, all fall, all game, and then go under center and expect it to be safer. HAHA

Also you place two backs next to the QB to fall on the ball on any issue. One behind for high snap. a fumbled snap under center can get kicked or give the defense actually a better chance to recover.
