Under the direction of head coach Jay Blossom
who earned his 300th career victory a season ago the Webster Groves Statesmen
have established themselves as one of the top programs in the state. 24-5
a season ago, the Statesmen continued their amazing conference winning streak
that has reached 9 seasons.

Leading the way for the Statesmen this year Rayshawn
Simmons
enters his fourth season. Simmons averaged nearly 14 points per
game last season, connecting on 35% of his three point attempts, 85% from the
three. After a solid season quarterbacking the state ranked Statesmen,
Simmons is banged up, but ready to lead his team.

Senior forward Demetrius Robinson returns, he
averaged 6.4 points and is a force on the boards. 6-foot-5 inch Peter Fairbanks
should return following surgery on his pitching arm and the Statesmen play their
trademark pressure defense.
