If WEBB doesnt fumble twice Joseph wouldve retired from the board. We all lost on those goal line fumbles..LOL,,,JK Joey. I agree with Daddy, that sounds wierd, Daddy lol. Kearneys QB ran the ball hard dont personally know but cant imagine the backup would get the yardage he did.

The premise of this board is to discuss the ins and outs of high school football, giving personal opinions of our favorite teams and the game of football as a whole. I've been a member of this board since it's inception. This year, I changed my handle, knowing full well I'd give knowlegable commentary about the game I love. In doing so, it'd be easy enough to figure out that I know a little about the game. I've done nothing wrong, or written anything wrong. I should know better? ridiculus. All of us have a right to anonymity. You are tophat, anything more is irrelevant. Cry babies. I've interfered with gloating with my personal opinion, trash talking like any other fan. You should know better than to spout off how wonderful everything is at the expense of my fan base.
It's really none of your business, or other poster's business what any person does as a profession or have done as a profession. You can take your emails and stick them in a file. If every coach on this board left, this would be a dry place, void of interest.
That's all I have to say about that.

Fort is #1 BUT only if they drop the coach and let their Pop Warner coach that took Skylar and a # of them to Florida for the National Championship game. If he coaches, they beat BSS by two touchdowns, at least.

Another point on this..................I agree it would be a dry, boring place without the input of coaches BUT virtually none of them use invectives and personally attack either a whole community or individuals. I have supreme respect for that profession and all the hard work that goes into it. You are a prime example of how our youth SHOULD NOT behave as it is unprofessional and childish. Worry not I know better than to publish your name.............
Thanks, I agree that in most years it would be hard to go undefeated if for no other reason than match ups.
Just a guess but I do believe that Webb and Kearney give each other problems in any given year due to one common denominator of their play.....
Hit as hard as you can, then at the end of the day we 'll see who's still standing.

For what? Many times over the years I have given basically all my personal info here..............no interest in hiding behind a screenname. On at least two-three occasions when issues arose several of us participated in a "I am _____ from _______" thread. It makes things much more honest.
Everyone keeps talking about the great Kearney defense, but they gave up 360 yards to Webb. 200 rushing and 160 passing by my count, and that's with Webb doing nothing in the first qtr. without the four turnovers Webb wins that game easily
And if the result was the other way around, I'm am absolutely positive you would be say all 4 turnovers due to Webb's physical, fast, swarming defense.
Who cares how many yards they gave up? If the gave up 800 or 50, does that matter? No, what matters is how many points they gave up, and by my count, that was only 14. That's a pretty damn good day. I understand that the last fumble, Burroughs never had the ball... I also understand that early on that drive (please, don't hate me because I'm agreeing with Joey on one thing) there was a fumbled that was called down by contact but was clearly a fumble... The fact remains, Kearney's D did a great job at beating Webb, by making them do things that wasnt their bread and butter.
All that said, I do agree that Webb probably wins that game at least 7 out of 10 times..
Points surrendered is the only statistic that matters. Nobody stops anybody anymore. 360 yards against a split back veer team is pretty good. Kearney made Webb drive it. Fumbles are part of the game.
A personal attack on a kid. A personal attack on a coach. Never happened, never will. Subjective opinion, this is the premise of the board.
Now if you want to say "play nice with Joey", we have had a p***ing contest over and over. But that's between us. You just happen to be caught in the middle of that, but you put yourself there, as the spokesperson for Kearney, not me.
I will say this, after you labeled our football team "average" that was a rallying point for us. We needed that. We don't practice the game to be average. We work real hard all year round to not be average. I have you to thank for that. We needed that. Thank you.
The average statement encompassed and entire community and a football team made of high school kids. But I understood it as subjective opinion, which is the premise of this board. We all have a right to our opinion.
As for calling me out, it's not hard to figure out, I've written several posts about the history of Kearney football, that only a person that is a graduate would know, and a life long coach would experience. The wonderful people involved. Kearney football was in part built by a supporting cast of great men that changed my life forever. It has a rich history. I admire where it is today, everybody does. Those men are the reason I became a coach and a teacher, no question. I hope we can move on now from this subject. I will continue to comment. Perhaps both of us will stop and think that we're writing about real people with feelings. Thank you and good night.

They would lose a couple games a year, because they would get beat up. Facing a big school week 1 is good for Webb...because schools like Har-ber and Rock have an improvement factor that is higher than Webb's. Webb has a better program and coaching...but by the end of the season those schools see a big improvement that Webb doesn't see.

Blizzard shows his ignorance again. It wasn't that K had a backup...its that the backup directly made three incredibly bad turnovers that were a 21 point swing in the game.

Especially for the Webb poster that decided to publish their character assassination hit piece yesterday. If they had that big of a problem, they should have written a newspaper or called the administration at KHS. Who would have responded by laughing and hanging up.

Do we have to go back to the VERY FIRST TOUCH OF THE BALL BY WEBB. Helmet to Helmet no FLAG first turnover which led to a score and knocking out the starting RB for WEBB on an ILLEGAL HIT. Right or Wrong? You are a repetitive sad little guy..30 posts all the same BS..And nonintent does not make it legal nor bring the starting running back back.
I have to agree with Blizzard here. He meant, Did not make it out ( translation the last team in the KC area) not Class 5. Too many seasons to remember but I think it was loss to LSW. They are located in Lee's Summit Missouri, a suburb of Kansas City.
Coaches used to say, didn't make it out, because they had to play BS, BSS, or Rockhurst, when there were only 5 classes.
I have to agree with Blizzard. You shouldn't talk about games that don't matter. The season is over and we're on to 2016.
