St. Mary's vs Hillsboro

It looks like Hillsboro keep this game close until the end of the 4th quarter and was leading at halftime. Did anyone have any takeaways from this game? St. Mary's sure can light up a scoreboard!

The way Hillsboro hung in there against both Ritter & St. Mary’s this szn was very impressive

A couple take aways I had from the game;

1. Romaine for Hillsboro is a tremendous player. Tough, fast and big. He will be a tremendous players for K-State.
2. St Mary's was trying WAY to hard to pass the ball in the 2nd Quarter into the cold wind. Should have just been working on beating down the Hillsboro D-Line with a constant barrage of running from four or five guys.
3. Once St Mary's started running it, was game over in the fourth.

I'm sure their three picks in the second half didn't have anything to do with it. It was definitely their running game....
