Another rookie pitcher with a 1-6 record and +5 ERA blows right through the Cards for first 3 innings. Watching this team and it's pop gun offense just amazes me how they continue to be the best team in baseball. Cubs pitchers hit better than anyone in our lineup

Once again, thru four innings we can't score on this chump pitcher. This is ridiculous. Wong needed to suck it up and play. Reynolds cannot start any game after the all star break. He will end up below .200. We need a first baseman. And we need one now. That's an offensive position for the other 31 mlb teams.
Greg Garcia could be playing in this game. Piscotty can't possibly be worse that the people in this lineup.

It doesn't help when the Cubs score a run on a batted ball that was never in fair territory. It bounced 3 times and every time it was in foul territory, how the heck could it have gone over 1st base?
I'll guess you did NOT see the replays. Not to mention he tossed the pitcher immediately when he questioned the call. Even the batter thought it was foul.
Umpires are not the problem. RISP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Scoring less than 3 runs a game and usually having only 1 inning a game that you score in is not going to win you many games. This team has been living on pitching and it has started to come down to the norm. I am signing off until we score 5+ runs in a game. Last time I did this we scored 6 the next night and went on a little run, but I'm afraid I won't be back until well after the All Star break
I didn't say umpires are the problem but that was a no brainer call and he wouldn't ask for help from the HP ump. That ball bounced 3 times and NEVER hit the ground fair territory. That doesn't give us more runs but who knows how much that changed the inning for the Cubs?
This is the worst hitting cardinals team in my lifetime. We have no power. We can't hit a bad AAA pitcher. BAD. 1-5 with a 6.33.

I really have to be frustrated and yes it has worked twice. I hate posting on here when it is negative so I would just as soon stay away, but they have come through the next day just luck me thinks! Hard to gripe about the best team in baseball. Go Birds beat those Pirates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
