rod-wildcatfan has passed away.

Long time MoSports poster rod-wildcat fan from Harrisonville passed away yesterday. I don't have any details other than that. Just wanted to let everyone know. He loved his football, and he will be greatly missed.
Oh my. I always loved reading his Harrisonville posts. He really knew his history and loved football. He will be missed.

This is very sad to hear. I always enjoyed his posts and passion for his Wildcats. I hope his family and loved ones are doing well during a time like this.

I promised him I would never reveal but will now: you all who played NW(C)MO Pick Em the past decade should know rod, on more than one occassion, out of the goodness of his heart sent me a check to supplement the prize payoffs. We had many great conversations outside this site and met at the Dome in 2013. Great, great man! So sorry for his loved ones and the Harrisonville FB community. God bless and Godspeed, Rod!

This really hit me. I never got to meet Rod but I always remember him participating in my MRVC Pick Em, when I ran it. He always posted really interesting articles and trivia on Harrisonville Wildcats history. I loved reading that stuff he posted. Terrible loss for MoSports and from I've gathered here, an even worse loss for the world.
