1. I want bring back the Catch All Class and make it Class 4.

2.. you get only Play- up points if you beat a team by .500 or better in the regular season.

What I don't like is unbalanced districts, semifinals that don't have the 4 best teams

Pros: Gets rid of terrible district draws that eliminate 1 or 2 or 3 of the best teams in the state before week 11/12. Balances out geographical inequities. It could also balances out Private School Success in Class 2 and 3. Also it helps Class 4 differential. No matter if we go back to 5 Classes or go 7 Classes, or divided evenly. This way i just done is the best scenario for the playoffs.

Class 1 (54) 91-204
D1 Caruthersville
D2 St Vincent
D3 Marionville
D4 Adrian
D5 Tipton
D6 South Shelby
D7 Milan
D8 one of the Buchanans

Championship
St Vincent vs Marionville

Class 2 (53) 205-345
D1 Valle
D2 Borgia
D3 Fair Grove/Strafford
D4 Lamar
D5 Warsaw/Butler
D6 Blair Oaks
D7 Bowling Green
D8 Lafayette County

Championship
Blair Oaks vs D3/D4 Winner

Class 3 (54) 346-555
D1 Dexter
D2 Lift for Life
D3 John Burroughs
D4 Osage
D5 Seneca
D6 Pleasant Hill
D7 Odessa/Oak Grove
D8 Savannah
Championship
Seneca vs Savannah

Class 4 ( Catch-All) (48) 558-900
D1 Hillsboro
D2 Festus
D3 Lutheran North
D4 Parkway North
D5 Hannibal/Warrenton
D6 West Plains
D7 Warrensburg/Nevada
D8 Kearney/Smithville

Championship
East Bracket winner vs D8 Winner

Class 5 (54) 905- 1270
Stays the Same except for 2 schools move down to 4

Class 6 (42) 1278-1762
Stays the Same

Class 1 is too big. Enrollment needs to stay under 200. At worse class 1 and 6 should be set at 48 and the other classes balanced out.

The point on a small class one was to encourage schools with low enrollment to play 11 man and slow down the number of schools dropping to 8 man.

Just need 16 districts in Class 2 through 5 and 8 in Class 1. Also would make each week of the playoffs mean even more with rebranded titles.

I think it would work but you could also have best teams in the state in the same District if they went 16. Could have Hillsboro/Festus Hannibal/Warrenton Fair Grove/Lamar or others good teams in the same districts. Also 3 or 4 team districts might have the same issue we have in Class 3 district 3. 7 teams who’ve really not the best team then other teams nearby.

8 districts in C1 will probably work, don’t know why mshsaa went with 4 districts anyway.

48 in Class 1 and 6 will work out. It will make the differential in 1 and 6 higher but Class 2-5 lower its differential.

Why 48 in C1& C6 and divided evenly will work.

1. I hate Class 1/.05. Not enough schools. Travel is outrageous with 4 districts. 7 out of the 16 games in Class 1 this week is over 2 Hours one way and One game is around 9 hours round trip. No district games should be over 2 hours if it has to be necessary.

2. The differential is the middle classes like 3 and 4 has been spread apart usually.

3. Move some schools around in Classes and districts to give the best teams out of a tough district and let the best schools play in the Quarters and Semis

4. Some Districts this year feels more farther than usually is. No need for D5 in Class 4 & D5 in C3 to be that spread out.

5. Last and always Private Schools. Honestly I hope it spreads out the private schools. The more championship factor points u get, the more they move up in 1 or 2 Classes. It what I say the last thread, Both Valle or Lutheran North and others cant play up to 2 Schools. They won’t make it pass the Semis!!!

First of all, you may have too much time on your hands! Secondly, #3 would be a logistics nightmare not knowing who the “best teams” are before a season or two begins. Unless you have a plan to figure that out ….

So if the privates year after year cant make it past the semi's they need a generational team to do it like all the other public schools need typically to do it? I get it auto pass to the finals because of course you have a larger pool to choose from so thus you are granted a free pass to win it all... i get it.... Two maybe even 3 private/charter/open enrollment or tuition accepting public schools (This is coming, and to deny it doesn't happen at public schools is to deny the obvious) classes solves this issue
