Maybe the Democrats should run a good candidate next time instead of whoever is "up next," since that doesn't seem to win elections nowadays. Maybe they should relent on some of the culture war issues that clearly mean a lot to voters. Maybe they should try to connect with the low-education and low-information voters that now go to the ballot box after skipping it for decades instead of calling them names. People clearly agree with many of their policies, as evidenced by ballot issues in state after state time and time again. It's amazing what people vote for when a partisan label isn't attached to it.

Maybe the dems shouldn't decieve the country about the inability of Biden to form a complete sentence. Maybe they shouldn't have installed Harris as their candidate. Maybe it's a red flag when Bush and Cheney support your party. Maybe they should "edumicate" all those dumb Americans that voted red. Maybe they shouldn't fund wars in Ukrainre and help Iran access money. Maybe they shouldn't curtail free speech. Maybe they shouldn't blatantly ignore the border issue 4 years ago, then act like it's a problem when it fits the agenda.

Wow. Where to begin? You are correct on one thing at least: It is a huge red flag when Bush and Cheney take away support from the party they've been in for decades and throw it to someone whose policies they completely disagree with. You would think at least a few would take notice.

Harris’s only qualifications were that she had female genitalia and she was Indian/black

She is brain dead stupid

Harris has about 15 million less votes than Biden ended up with. Gosh, Dem voter turnout must have took a hit. Wonder why, this would have had a major impact on the outcome?

I said from the day she became the candidate (and a few days before) that she was one of the very few people they could have chosen that would for sure lose to Trump. Your obvious misogyny aside, she was not a good candidate.

Now, her interpersonal intelligence seems to be lacking, much like Hillary Clinton, but to call her "brain-dead stupid" is just, well, brain-dead stupid, as I'm not aware of many people making it through law school who aren't very, very intelligent, if academically, at least. If you think interpersonal intelligence is "better" than academic intelligence, that's, of course, your prerogative, but it goes a long way towards explaining why people trust con-artists far more often than they trust rational well-reasoned arguments.

I tend to believe that, like most things, a balance of different types of intelligence is what is needed in a leader, but, lacking that, people will gravitate towards emotion almost every time.

A lot of people were about as enthused to vote for her as they are to go to the dentist.

It takes nothing but good memory to be able to regurgitate what you read in a book. Calling that intelligence is the problem with our education system.

Eight reasons to start...
1. She was not likable.
2. She was installed and did not go through a primary process.
3. When she spoke, people got even more turned off.
4. She has played the role of leftist but then had to backtrack on policies that Americans don't like.
5. She came off as not authentic and hid from interviews.
6. Her history as Willie Brown's sugar baby and her no-show jobs that she was given throughout her career.
7. The horrible inflation of the past four years. The horrible border policy of the past four years.
8. People see the DNC as an elite out of touch cabal of DC goons now. Not working in the interests of the people.
