D5 toughest district in Class 4. 4 schools could win. Surprise pick but I will take Kirksville. Osage is my Dark Horse pick in class 4.
D6 Bolivar or Carl Junction, I’ll take Bolivar

Hannibal wins D5. I watched the Mexico/Kirksville game and wasn’t that impressed. Not sure how they beat Hannibal but I’ll take the Pirates in a rematch

Hannibal could win but right now Hannibal been dealing with the injury bug the past 2 weeks. . Hannibal 4 RB’s are dealing with Injuries. Ferreira our #1 RB dealing with a Knee or Leg injury from the Kirksville game but still playing but dealing with the injury while playing . Our 2 and 3 String RB got hurt during the game Friday night. The 4th String RB Hoskins, been out dealing with a hamstring injury. We was on our 5 string RB by the end of the 3rd Qtr. We lost our Starting number 2 WR/ Starting DB for the season and the D1 Recruit DL been dealing with a knee injury. Hope Hannibal takes it easy and rest some players Friday at Marshall.

I agree Kirksville is not a Class 4 favorite, but they are light years ahead of where they have been in my lifetime. The new coach is getting full value out of the talent. Physical team.

Injuries have definitely hit Hannibal hard this season. The RB Hoskins was actually Ferreira's back up. He's been dealing with the hamstring since the Troy game. He didn't play for two weeks, played the first half against Kirksville, must have tweeked it again because he didn't play in the second half or at all against Moberly. He is also their best DB, and one of their best defensive players. He was leading the team in tackles through the first 3 games. RB Washington got hurt against Moberly...looked to be a foot injury. He is a big play threat and will be missed on offense. He also started on defense. He and Hoskins are also their best return guys too, even with Essig having two KO returns for TDs on Friday. Also, hearing LB McAfee hurt his hand against Moberly and may be out for a while too. The 3 starting safeties either have been out or will be out for significant time, DL Hoskins missed 4 games and is playing injured with a brace, and now McAfee at LB out....definitely testing the depth. If Hannibal somehow gets any of those guys back and makes a run in the playoffs, it would be amazing.
