Parkway North.....why will they win Class 4?

Bc one of those Oklahoma earthquakes sucks western Missouri into the center of the earth and they win by default.
Being serious and since I follow st. louis high school football closely they will
get to the championship game but lose to Kearney. Parkway North is loaded with
tremendous speed and the best defense in class 4. Middle LB is a high division 1
recruit. North has always been a good class 5 school. Bob Bunton their coach is a hall
of fame coach. Their schedule is very tough playing class 6 Kirkwood, Eureka. Class 5
Pattonville, Ritenour. I think them moving to class 4 is strange since they have always had
huge enrollment same as Parkway Central and Parkway West. They play Parkway West this
Friday who they will handle pretty easy. Then they get Webb City or Harrisonville, just
don't think they can beat North. All the research I have done on Kearney they look like
a very very good class 4 team.

Recent (15+ years) history of StL area teams in Class 3/4 deep in the playoffs is not good. I think that's why some might be skeptical. Me, included, for sure. But that's why we play the games. What we think really doesn't matter.

While we enjoy the enthusiasm, Parkway North does not have the #1 defense in Class 4. They also do not really play a tough schedule for Class 4. Their strength of schedule is barely in the top half for the class and is far behind Kearney and Webb City.
Also, getting shut out by Class 6 Kirkwood really isn't an accomplishment ... Pattonville was 4-7 on the year ... Ritenour is Class 6 and barely in the top half of the class. Finally, since you "follow st. louis high school football closely" are you sure North played Eureka?

Parkway North's strength of schedule is lower than Webb and Kearney. PN won't handle the veer. Game over. Webb n Kearney again. Toss up game.
I don't know enough about Parkway North to assert that WC or Kearney would just walk over them but I find the idea ludicrous that Parkway North is a lock to beat either team simply because they are a good team (that couldn't win Class 5) and by moving down to Class 4 they are now suddenly the team to beat.
WC (and probably Kearney) are likely not where they have been the last few years but they have been there/done that plenty so PN will show neither anything that they haven't seen a lot before.

I obviously think the games should be played and our opinions are just that ... opinions. My post was sarcasm in case people didn't pick up on that.
If anyone takes anything written on message boards seriously then I guess it will be a learning experience for them.
The idea that PN was a Class 5 power doesn't fit a team that hasn't left their district, a district with one state championship game appearance, since the shift in the playoff system.
No...wrong. They were less than 7 point favorites. Calpreps doesn't take into account 7-8 fumble games or like last year, the Liberty North fluke victory over Kearney (which kept them underrated on Calpreps all year.)

I never look beyond the next team on the schedule and HATE using some computer formula to try to figure out who will win at this level.
Hey Webb fans put Kirkwood on your schedule or even Pattonville so you
can quit playing Neosho , Nixa and the other so called good teams. No comparison
between Kirkwood and those teams. Webb has been head and shoulders better than
those teams until this year just shows how the other programs are good to avg. In st.louis at least
our class 5 and 6 conferences have competition.

Congratulations, you just lost what shred of credibility you had left.
In case you don't realize how you lost your credibility. We schedule a little known class 6 team called Rockhurst. Beat them soundly both times. We've also scheduled and beaten class 7 powets from Arkansas. Springdale harber and Bentonville as well as Rogers. Throw in St. THOMAS Aquinas from Kansas for good measure.
Dont forget carthage made the semis last year. Nixa made the dome and semis in the 2 years before that
Now you are just trolling, because teams like Webb, and Kearney play a way tougher strength of schedule than Parkway North. They have always. I can't wait to watch Webb roll to the final and face Kearney again. It should be close.

Unless there is another Jairus Byrd lurking in St. Louis C4 they won't beat Webb or anyone else from this side of the state..................but can we please focus on the quarterfinals?
