The player not playing for Dexter this season will REALLY hurt. I haven't seen anyone in this area that could take her place and do what she did for that team.

Not that I know of, she has big time college soccer in mind. I assume her and family have decided not to risk injury in basketball but I don't know that for sure.

Park Hills should be good. But can they beat Saxony? Time will tell.

On the Park Hills vs.Saxony issue that will be a great game assuming both teams get that far. At some point they will have to probably face a VERY good and experienced St. James team also. I would certainly be surprised if one of those two (Park Hills or Saxony) are not in Columbia in March.
Concerning Dexter the young lady choose not to play due to soccer (already has an offer from an SEC team I understand). However 3R I have to disagree a little. Certainly Dexter loses a lot defensively but on the offensive side not so much. Dont' count Chad and the girls our yet. I believe your friend Mr. Walk will want to be spending some time watching the Lady Cats games again this year.
By the way how is Erika playign so far?

I have no doubt this group of girls at Dexter will be very good at some point. That might be this season and it might be a couple of years, I don't know. I'm sure Coach Walk will be watching. They will miss the soccer player, I haven't seen anyone at any age around here that brings what she did to the defense, especially on the press, and a LOT of that turned into to layups for her or someone else on the team. I expect Dexter to be just fine the next few years. Erika has some non basketball related health issues and has not played a game yet. Chelsey Vinson from Cape has a bad ankle sprain and has not played and 3 players were kicked off the team before the season started so they are off to a pretty slow start. Another girl from Van Buren will not be eligible until next semester. Coach has picked up a kid from P.B. and one from Naylor that were in school here and they played some this last weekend.

Barring a major upset Park Hills and St.James will meet in the Potosi Tournament the first week of December. Not sure they would meet in the playoffs unless it's in the Final 4. I haven't seen how it's set up this year but they likely will go different directions to get there, St. James usually goes west in the playoffs if they win their district.

Park Hills/Saxony could only see St. James in the Final 4. Park Hills will likely play St. James first week of December in the Potosi Tournament finals.

I fixed that, I don't think they're allowed to give them licks anymore.
