No Waste vaccine list

I just heard about this the other day, has anybody else heard of this?
At our local Wal-mart Pharmacy you can sign up to be on the no Waste list. Basically if they have more Doses than they have people wanting to take them for a certain day to make sure they don't go to waste they start calling people who have signed up.

Had a friend get a shot that way yesterday.

Had not heard that but Hope it's true because I know across the nation a lot of Anti-biotics, and other types of Vaccines and medications and such are getting destroyed because they are expiring, usually they get passed around to Clinics and Such before they go bad and are used but now with everything C19 related and some places shut down....Clinics on Campus and such....that is not a option. That type of stuff makes me upset I hate stuff going to waste. Bureaucracy sucks....but it's the system. No one to blame really.

Well I got on the no Waste list and got a call two days later. So now I have had my first shot.

So the no waste thing is real.
