Trump rarely held a press conference until covid started. If he wouldn't shovel so much poo in his covid press conferences/campaign pep rallies and make so many false claims, then he wouldn't have to answer to the jackals. I just watched the press conference for the first time. The 2 young female reporters were baiting Trump with nonsensical questions about "why is testing a competition?" No question about it. I don't blame him for walking out when they wouldn't sit down and shut up.
However, when he called Obama out and accused him of "the greatest crime in history", and a reporter simply asked "What crime specifically did Obama commit?", Trump replied "you know what I'm talking about" and wouldn't answer only to say "it will come out". I'm sorry, but when he accuses a former president of the "greatest crime in history", he can't expect those replies to suffice. Tough talk and outlandish statements and not backing them up doesn't take very big kahunas

I didn't see the press conference but did see the outtakes of the libporter doing the gotcha thing, totally inane agenda-driven garbage, SSDD.

The only people who care about that nonsense are people who were NEVER going to vote for Trump in the first place.
That's a non-starter for the 20-30% who will vote Republican regardless of who the candidate is, and...spoiler alert, of the remaining 40-45% of us who are up for grabs, very few really care about a comment.
Independent voters, especially independent voters, are WAY more concerned with policy than some errant remark.
