Mourning in America

Church this morning! LIFE is coming back and the more it does the less paranoid people will become. It isn't life if you don't do more than stay alive.

Trumpy getting tested daily. All wh workers tested when they come to work.
All is well!!!
You peons can die and trump cares not one bit.

You have every right to do as you please. Fortunately, my family and friends are maintaining social distancing. Unfortunately, I am becoming less protected because of people like you. You're probably relatively young and chances are not get very sick if infected. I don't have that luxury.

Was just at a winery today in Farmington for a wedding party. I’d guess 75-100 people were there.

Not one mask.

No one cares anymore. Or they don’t watch CNN.
Another petri dish for us to study. Check back in 14 to 20 days and we can discuss how the no mask thing is working. I would think a gathering of that size with no social distancing or masks would create 3 to 6 new cases.

Trump is so bad at this virus thing he can't even keep it out of his own house. With every advantage that the White House has, they are now under siege from within, but hey no need to wear masks. This really should inspire the American people on his handling of this war he is fighting. The cheerleading backup seems to be losing this war, but I'm sure it will be gone with the warm weather no need for vaccine Spin away corona heads. For the life of me I just don't know how Obama hid that virus in the White House for 3.5 years without it being detected.
Here's the plan
Reopen the economy without enough testing or tracers
No worries the virus is going to disappear
The economy is going to take off like a rocket
What could possibly go wrong?

Protecting you isn't my job.
60 yrs old......had a stroke 3 months ago.
I and my 84 yr old mom believe hiding is no way to live out your life. I go to work everyday, more risk there (spfld) than Mt Vernon, not that it scares me either way.

Those 3 to 6 cases is bound to nab at least one grandma. But hey, it’s worth it.
Chances are, they would agree with you or they wouldn't have went. Their generation isn't spoiled by everything being "safe". They've lived through quite a few "scares" and see this as just another.

One of the great things about going to college is making enough money to be able to pay other people to do manual labor on your behalf, so you can spend your time on leisure and other personal pursuits.
No kidding. If you have money you can pay. What a concept. Brilliant.

You're deranged. Go have a Stag and calm down, it's not that serious.

No one lives forever, everyone dies of something.

Saw a study the other day that the average age of people dying from WuFlu is higher than the average national life expectancy.
I remain astounded that this is a talking point for why the virus isn’t something meaningful. Old people have a right to live, too. And something that kills six figures of them in a couple months is not something to minimize. People do love their spouses, siblings, parents, grandparents, etc. “they’re old already” isn’t comforting; it’s a terrifying reminder to most people that they have to make sacrifices to keep their loved ones around

To be more calculating, old people also have a habit of voting. Politicians generally have to care what they think to some extent.

That's a shame. In most societies, the elderly are respected and valued. Another example of how far trump and his flock have dragged our nation's values down. But I'm sure you're happy the stock market went up a couple points today.

The reality is, worldwide, given the age and underlying conditions of the victims the average person who has died from the virus would have lived 10 more years.

So while many sickly people have died, many who should have lived much longer have also passed away.

Um...no. The average age of people who die from WuFlu is 80.5. Life expectancy in the US is only 78.9.

Again, the people who are dying have already exceeded the average life expectancy for and overwhelmingly had other health issues.

VERY few of these people had 10 extra years in them.

Yes, people make sacrifices and necessary life changes to help protect loved ones with Covid...and cancer, and the flu, and literally any other threat to life that exists.

It is truly unfortunate that your reading skills are not better. You seem to have missed a word.

One example: Other people who “go out” and don’t take things seriously also go to the same grocery store you do. Or the gas station. Or the post office. Or they work at the restaurant where you got carry out.

Um, globally the average life expectancy is 72.6, so if that's the point you were trying to make, swing and a miss.

So don't do those things. You don't have to go INTO a grocery store. Walmart is everywhere and they will carry your groceries to your car AND sanitize the bags if you ask for it.

Wear gloves and use a debit card at the gas station, problem solved.

Carryout isnt a human right or need. If you're THAT worried about your health, cook your own food.

Come on Kascowardia, tell me how other people going out and living their lives makes YOU less protected?

I'm waiting...you've got a comment for everything else when you can piggyback off Duck or Veer...quit being their annoying little brother and answer the question.

If you don't care about your fellow man, then that's on you. Fortunately I live in a close knit county where people care about their neighbors and have taken seriously social distancing and no large gatherings. We have a total of 9 cases from the very beginning while all the counties around us are much higher. So do what you want, just stay away from us.

That's not what I asked, implied, or cared about.

Who's responsible for YOUR health?

Kask, that’s not true. I was just down in your area Saturday and there was 100 people at a winery and it was open to the public.

Yeah we go to Ste Genevieve all the time, tons of people do. He can play the "tight knit community" angle (which it is) all he wants, the fact is none of that matters because all it takes is one infected guy driving through and stopping at a gas station to infect the whole town.

But he'd rather people stop their entire lives to save him. That's the height of narcissism and egotism.
