Maryville/Monett for all the marbles

Cassville, who Monett beat 21-20, finished 3rd in the Big 8. Cassville is ranked #54 in Missouri, only a few spots ahead of #57 St. Joseph Lafayette who Maryville beat 52-20. Maryville also beat #38 Chillicothe 61-14 and #55 Smithville 39-0.

So, please tell me again how much better the Big 8 is for Monett. Losing to Lamar really isn't an accomplishment.

You're wrong like usual. One game doesn't make a season or decide who the better team is. Take a look at the CJ vs Webb games or many similar ones where teams have met twice (sometimes in back-to-back weeks) and the teams split. Cassville would probably finish in the top half of the MEC.

Cassville's only other loss (other than two to Monett) was to Lamar. You could make the argument they might would win the MEC. With two state champs its more than one game... You would have to give the edge to the Big 8 if you are looking at it objectively.

Really?? I will just let the outcome of the game settle this. I am glad that things are settled on the field and not by the rankings you put so much stock into your predictions.

Then you have never been to Monett, our announcer goes out of the way to make sure and get the correct annunciation of players names and coaches, so do our radio guys.

Monett s radio guys are awesome! Best I've ever heard for high school games. And you can't tell which team they're rooting for, just call the game how it's happening. They're very professional and knowledgeable. Wish we had them in our booth

Probably so. I watched it on city link and heard some audio only webcasts. I just assumed they put the radio broadcast on with the video feed on citylink. Thanks for the correct info
